| Poop Accident AGAIN! Please read the email my sister sent me below So I get home, and your little girl was sitting very politely and she didn't come up to me or anything. I thought in my head "why is she acting so sweet and innocent?" Well I loved on her a little bit and gave her kisses. Then I get up and there it was...poop underneath the table and in the hallway. I hadn't said anything yet, and I turn around and I couldn't find her. Finally I see a little head peer out from behind the couch. I told her to come, but she wouldn't come from behind the couch. She did, finally, and she was shaking in my arms. I took her over to her poop and put her face in it and yelled. Then I told her to go to her crate and I put her in there for about 15 minutes. She's now trying to get me to forgive her, but I'm still not paying attention to her lol. I want her to learn her lesson! All I ask is WHY?!?! She's almost 3 and clearly knows that it's wrong! My sister goes home for lunch and takes her out. She could have gone then. Ugh! Am I going to use pee pads as my decor for the rest of my life?!?! |

| Did you change her diet, times she's fed meals or treats? She obviously knew she had done wrong though and felt bad. Poor girl. If it makes you feel better... Kayla will go outside and not potty but come in and go on the carpet. She will even come from playing and go inside and then go back out to play. It's not nice to put their face in it though. I hope your sister doesn't always do that to Rosie when she has an accident.

We just put her close so she knows what we were yelling at her for. As you can tell by her reaction, she knew exactly y we yelled at her I don't know what's wrong w her tonight. She keeps going in the kitchen and she knows she's not supposed to. She goes behind the table and works her way to the kitchen. I guess she thinks we don't know what she's doing. I have said no to her 5-6 times for going into the kitchen tonight and put her in her crate 3 times. Sigh I have no idea what's wrong w her. Btw, Kayla is so funny. She's still young and has some time to learn. | |

| Maybe it's you yelling at her. She's obviously scared to pieces or she wouldn't be shaking. Maybe you need to retrain her but not be so harsh .

| I agree with Emilyann. Dogs are In the moment. She doesn't know you are yelling at her now for her pooping 20 min ago... she thinks you are yelling at her for finding it.. next time she will just hide it better... hide herself better and shake more... i hope you re think your training. |

| I showed my sister some of the comments and she is real upset. She thinks she's horrible for getting mad at her. We normally don't yell at her and it never worked. Edited: My sister has just started working full time, so maybe she's just upset we're not home as often. Last edited by cheeselover8481; 09-10-2008 at 06:13 PM. |

| Your sister should pick the poop up with a paper towel or something and put it outside or on a pee pad. Praise your pup like crazy then. She'll get that's where she's supposed to go. Takes time. I'm still working with my little guy on it. Good luck! |

| She knows she's supposed to go outside and even rings her bell. She just sometimes gets in these moods where she rebels against us. For instance she knows not to go in the kitchen, but sneaks in there from behind the table Or when she humps her toys she goes behind the couch because she knows I'll say no. That's just Rosie for ya and our trainer told us she has a strong personality. Sigh. Believe me....she has a bad rep at the vet, groomer, training classes, and playdates. Yeah I think it is the change of our schedule. Please note my sister lets her out during lunch, so we take her out after 4 hours. This is good considering she rings her bell about every 6 hours on the weekends. | |

I just want to say we are going through this with Mimi. She is 16 months, but we have only had her for 3 months. Some days (and most days) she does very well. She will hold it 5 to 6 hrs, then we will have an off day. So with that being said just please remember......... Sometimes when you gotta go......you just gotta go! You can't always wait 4 to 5 hours or for someone to let you into a bathroom! But I do feel your fustration believe me.
