| Hehe true. Whenever I am on AIM I seem to offend people bc you really can't sense sarcasm over the internet. They should have some way to denote it. Like...a twist on italics.

| If the 'dogs' knew they were going to be left in a locked car, they probably would have asked to stay home !!! They only time my 'dogs' go in the car, it's when we drive to the park , to the vet and to grandma's house....!!! I have called 911 on 'dog's left in the car....It's illegal here too !!!!

| My Conner would never be left in the car alone. I take him in the gas station with me to pay because we stop before the park. Even though there are windows and he can see me and I can see him, I wouldn't leave him. Just the fact that your dog is barking tells you HE DOES NOT WISH TO BE LEFT ALONE IN THE CAR.

| It seems a shame that we have to leave our dogs at home when we go shopping or to markets. Must be difficult if you have to leave your dog in your car love. I don't leave mine in my car unless my hubby is with me, but if you have no choice, ie when you are going to a shop or market who don't allow dogs, then taking your dog to the park. (Especially if they're in different places.) I'd suggest a doggy stroller. I've seen one which just looks like a baby's buggy, and plan to get one when I can afford it. You won't need to leave her then and the shop keepers wouldn't know. Hugs Shirl x x

| the only way I can suggest to stop your yorkie from barking in the car is to leave him at home.

| UK Dogs Shirl..when we lived in the UK...long ago, we took our Cocker Spaniel everywhere with us...dogs were welcome in any shop or restaurant. We used to go to Southport for a summer vacation and "Judy" went also..she stayed in the hotel, went to the dining room with us, as all the other dogs did...have things changed..are dogs still as welcome as in years passed? PS..mothers used to leave their babies outside a shop in their prams and never worry... Last edited by YorkieRose; 07-26-2008 at 04:01 AM. |

| I work at a hotel in Vegas (go figure). A couple years ago, around Xmas, people from Calif had their little 6 year old Princess in their car, in the parking garage, while they were in the hotel. Someone broke in & got their little baby. How sad for the doggie to be ripped off. Before that, I only went to places that I could park right in front & keep my eye on the car. After it happened I ran out & got a doggie purse bag to keep Lucy in when we went places. She came in with me!! Recently I bought a dog stroller for our trip to Calif. She came into IHOP with us & everything. Now, with the 2 girls, I'll have to find something bigger.
