Donating YT 7000 Club Member | wow you have a bit of a situation. how old is she? you don't have to put her back in the crate but block off part of the house and put her in that area. perhaps putting the other wee wee pad back down. don't blame yourself, a lot of dogs regress every now and then during training. you just have to be a little more firm about it. good luck!

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | yea that sounds good. she's doing really well, if she was doing that good up to 4 months. don't let her get out of the hallway if thats where you want her to be when your not home. if that doesn't work then keep making the area smaler and smaller. when she starts doing good again make it a little bigger. good luck!!

| They sell a spray at www.petsmart.com that you spray on the pad and dog's are supposed to be attracted to the scent and pee wherever you spray it. bought it and it seems to have helped me train Katie.

| You mentioned that your puppy was not feeling well yesterday...Our puppy started having a few bad days and then started acting like she was feeling bad and come to find out she had a urinary tract infection which was causing her to not feel well and also causing her to not have very good bladder control. |

| I think you gave her too much freedom too soon. Plus she is only 4 months old, still a baby and still has a lot to learn. |

| that spray worked for Oreo & Ginger.. but it STINKS!!!! lol.. and that is a little bit too much freedom.. start her off in a room/bathroom.. well since i still live with my parents.. i have a big room for me and the kiddies and they are doing great with potty training except when i let them roam around the house.. they go bizarre and pee/poo everywhere and anywhere until i either put them back in the room or take them outside to go potty.. |

For starters - and just for starters - I never leave a dog under a year alone in a house with the run of the house. Even after they are housebroken, or I think they are, they are still confined to a single room in the house when I am not around. Or better yet, an ex-pen. This for behavioral purposes. Was she free to run around or just in the living room? | |
