Bridget - Potty Training Regressing... or Testing Me? I’ve had 11 month old Bridget for a week now and I just love her so much but she's regressing a bit with the potty training. The first few days we did really well, going on our p-pads. The last couple days… not so much. I think Mommy may have given her baby too much freedom to roam, too early. I’ve kept her in my bedroom with p-pads in the bathroom. She’ll go on them about ½ of the time. This morning she peed twice in different areas of my bedroom. Even with the pads right there! I didn’t catch her in the act, so all I could do was clean it up. Can anyone give me advice? I work full time, so I’m a little confused on what kind of a schedule would be best. I have an area off the bathroom where I can gate her in and still have lots of room for bed, toys, etc. Thanks!

[QUOTE=Bridget's Mommy]I think Mommy may have given her baby too much freedom to roam, too early.QUOTE] I think you got it. I also think your bedroom is also giving her too much room. Not to mention it is hard to clean the pee out of the carpet. I would suggest locking her up in a small bathroom or keeping her in crate when you are not home with her to keep an eye on her.

I am having the same problem. I have had 3 month old Elizabeth for a month now. I take her out several times when I am home. I have her on a schedule 4:50, 5:40, 7:00 at lunch and several times in the evening. She still will not go outside. She thinks outside is play time, and holds it until she comes back in. I don't know what to do. I know I gave her too much freedom, and I don't want to punish her and break her little heart. I am at a loss....

She plays with the grass and sticks and the cat and Napoleon. I am going to get a harness and leash train her, maybe that will help. I don't think she gets the 'urge' until its to late. I just don't remember having this problem with Napoleon. He pp'd outside and did his other business inside until we started to coax him with a treat, but Lulu is not intersted in treats.

i think i am also doing something wrong Wynstn Too is 14 weeks old. When We are home we have a pee pad in the living room, one in the kitchen and when i am in the computer room we have one there. He does good sometimes cos we can see the pee pad has been used. But other times I catch him going on the carpet or else I see spots on the kitchen floor. When I let him outside he goes like he is suppose to. Sometimes he will go poo behind the chair and couch in the living room. I do not let him in our bedrooms or bathrooms or down the hall.
