| from years of dieting - a diet pill will only be a quick fix for weight loss, i have said this for years, you HAVE to change your eating habits for life.... you can't depend on a diet pill, i just had a baby 6 months ago and lost 47 lbs. on my own,, i ate fruit, low fat meals, a drank lots of water.... diet pills are no good for you,, especially that new one Alli, it just makes you go to the bathroom all day, my girlfiend was on them and they made her sick... eating heathly is the way to go....join weight watchers and learn to eat better and cook better meals and no fast food resturants ( i wouldn't feed that junk to my Yorkies).... hey if i could do it you can too...... i was 150 lbs when i had my baby, i think i weight around 117-116 lbs now.... no pills, no fast diet plan, just changed my eating habits... lots of fruit and veggies.....

| i know what you mean, im 37 years old, and everyone told me i would never loose the baby weight "cause i'm old" but i did, believe me, i loved junk food, especially chocolate and the dairy queen use to be my favorite stop when i was pregnant,,, use to eat fast food junk all the time.... but heart attacks run in my family and i have a baby to worry about now so i had to change something in my life, and yes i did go weight watchers years ago in my 20's and i lost the weight and gained it back when i was pregnant plus more, but i went back on my healthy eating and cooking and lost it.. and this is with a husband that eats junk food in front of me everynight,,,, it's very hard.. but a diets pills are no good for you... there just like taking speed and laxitives.... that's all they are... read whats in them.....

| Everyone has different opinions and beliefs.......so here are mine: Anything that is NOT natural and is synthetic does have side effects. Alli is just like Xenical (which is prescriptioned). To make a long story short.......I used to weigh 303lbs and have never had children. I used to be on Xenical and the side effects were just like the bottle says..........very gross. I tried every diet known to mankind. I decided to eat healthy and excercise and lost 173lbs......and now at about 130lbs. Personally, I believe this is the latest fad. Once you go off the pill, you will gain the weight back plus more. I have already seen some nasty effects but I will not share them with you to spare you. Oh, and yes, I am a Registered Nurse

| Donating YT 2000 Club Member | I would be afriad of hydroxycut giving me a heart attack. I am scared of pill like that. Kristen took them for a few days and I noticed she watched what she eat like crazy because she was afraid of the side affects. Then we found out she is ADD and they put her medication that causes weightloss so I made he stop the Alli. I had Gastic bypass in 2004 and I struggle everyday. I lost all my weight(160 pounds) and have not gained but I obesses everyday about it. Here I am before surgery and next was the other day.

| I tried Alli from the moment it was available and honestly it did absolutely nothing more to me than a cup of coffee could (help digestion) But perhaps that is because I am also at the plateu of weight loss (last 15 pounds)

| Therapy Dog Donating Member | Than ks, WV - Yorkies (Melissa) - I just got the Alli yesterday and started to take today..we'll see what happens - I have this last 10 pounds to lose and just saw the nutrionist today (Cleveland Clinic) and so far I'm on target (already lost 30) so hopefully this will do it by the holidays. I'll let you know how it works.....I'm already on a low-fat diet so I'm not worried about the side affects.

| We should have a get in shape/weight loss OT forum. I'm scared of all those diet pills, as they always have some sort of bad side effect or other. But I did need to do something after gaining a ton of weight after jaw surger. You'd think I'd lose weight......but after living on liquids for 4 weeks, my metabolism was crap and I inflated as soon as I started eating. So I decided to try Nutrisystem. I have to say, the food is really good! I eat fresh fruits/veggies 4 times a day and I feel great. In 1 1/2 weeks I've lost 7lbs, which I'm happy with. So I'll be the YT Nutrisystem guinea pig. |

| OMG! I know someone who was using this product...it wasn't pretty, she had some one come up to her at work and told her she had a stain on the back of her pants... you guessed it ... she about died, she wasn't even aware it happened!.....after three more blow outs she trashed the pills, she said the package should say you have to wear depends and wear only wear black..
