| I personally would never take a puppy home to my children without it being properly vet checked prior! $400.00 is alot of money to pay a vet for the treatment of ringworm. You can purchase a product over the counter at any drug store called Lamisil. It comes in a cream and works great for ringworm, it even states it on the package! You can also purchase the Lamisil scrub to use on the area before applying the cream. You can use it on the dog, yourself and your children.

| That's terrible This lady must be a complete money hungry idiot to send a dog with ringworm to a home with a baby who could easily contact it.

| This is ridiculous, and the vet reimbursed you, that was very nice of him. But if he has it documented that he told the breeder about the ringworm, he should get his money back from her. I can't believe what some people will do for a sale. Word of mouth can kill you, she is wrong for all of this.

| Get over it!!!!!!!!!!! I am sorry for all your problems. But I heard that the reason that the Martins sold their dogs was because they had the ringworm (fungus) to start with and they had other problems as well such as liver shunt. They are the ones that tricked this Robin Fisher and other innocent people. I bought a dog from the Martins before they sold their business and my dog had ringworm when I got it. And I was not told before hand. If anyone has poor business practice it would be the Martins. Robin Fisher is probably a very hard working person and maybe really cares about dogs, because if she didn't she would not have told you about the fungus. She sounds very honest. I spent $2000 on the dog and about $600 in vet bills. The dog is fine now and I am perfectly happy with him. He is of high quality in my opinion. I think the reason for the high vet bill was because the vets that I saw just wanted money. The Martins acted like they had no knowledge of it and would not return my phone calls. I think that they were wanting out of the business because the fungus got so bad. Because I heard it can be hard to get rid of, if not taken proper care of. I think that Robin Fisher was tricked just like you. I wouldn't blame her. I might want to buy a dog from her one day. Are you sure that your child had ringworm????? I had ringworm as a small child and I got it from a cat. I went to the dermatogolist and got some medicine and it was gone in no time. I never had severe problems from it. Maybe your son has eczema???? I have heard that it is a lot like ringworm and it is even harder to get rid of. My son had it when he was little and he finally grew out of it. It looks just like ringworm. I don't think I would blame Robin Fisher because she was up front with you and you did not have to buy the dog. I would not buy a dog from a person if they told me it had a fungus or something wrong with it, especially for that amount of money. Maybe you should have put more thought into it. From what I have read is that yorkies are prone to having fungus or ringworm because of their dry sky. Maybe you need to just get over it and move on because from everything that I have heard and read about the Martins, it probably started with them. I don't think blaming Robin Fisher and dragging her name through the mud is right. You need to get all of the facts. Maybe her vet is one that just likes the money and doesn't care. There are a lot of people in this world that enjoy hurting people and putting the blame where it doesn't need to be. Because it makes them feel better and they need to grow up. Did you ever meet this woman? Besides everyone is in something for the money I don't care who you are. I am lawyer and I am most certainly in it for the money. Did you sign a guarantee? I am a lawyer and if you signed a guarantee and she then told he something was wrong with the dog the contract/guarantee is void or not vaild. Please feel free to write me back with your comments. |

I think that the Martins tricked her into buying the dogs and the website because they needed an out. I think you need to get over it. Maybe your child had ecxema. It is a lot like ringworm and even harder to get rid of. My son had ecxema and he finally out grew it. All I can really say is at least she told you up front and you had a way out and did not take it. (Sorry I thought I posted something early but it never appeared ont the message board, so sorry) |

| You clearly did not read my email. It sounds like you are in cahoots with Robin. She told me that it was a fungus, yes, but she knew it was ringworm and did not tell me that. I trusted her and in fact did my homework. Shadow Creek got very good reviews. Hard to believe that you would side with a business person with such poor practices... |
