I personally would never take a puppy home to my children without it being properly vet checked prior! $400.00 is alot of money to pay a vet for the treatment of ringworm. You can purchase a product over the counter at any drug store called Lamisil. It comes in a cream and works great for ringworm, it even states it on the package! You can also purchase the Lamisil scrub to use on the area before applying the cream. You can use it on the dog, yourself and your children.
