Hi Viv!

I just wanted to remind you that this thread is not owned by you. You posted your great experience with Breny, which I'm glad everything went well for you. I think everyone is entitled to post their experience as well whether good or bad.

I haven't posted what I really think of my boy's breeder. Maybe some day I'll have the guts to speak out. It's even harder to speak out against a long time member and give an honest review when others seem to have them in high regard. That goes for products as well as for breeders.

You gave your rave review, and the other poster gave her review. As long as you both were honest and didn't stretch the truth, I see no problem in each of you having an equal opportunity to express yourselves.

I hope you have continued success with Ressie and I hope Snick and him are best friends for the rest of their lives. *hugs* to you.

No, she didn't mention to me, anything about a deposit. After I asked her how the pup could have been sold already, that's when she replied saying that she reserves the pup to the first person who puts down a deposit. Nowhere in my post, did I mention that she asked me for a deposit, which she didn't. I hope this cleared things up.

I know hun...everyone does have their right to express themselves, but in this case, it hijacks the thread, and for that....it's not right in my book. If she wanted to start her own thread about her experience fine---but she didn't, she added it to a positive thread, and everyone who supports the initial intension of the thread is retaliating. Her own thread would have allowed her to answers questions etc w/o the negative connotation of her bashing Breny on a praise thread.

Thanks for the sweet wishes, Reesie is snuggling next to me napping. Little baby boy!!!!!!! Reesie and Snick being BFF will come hopefully...right now they are rival brothers LOL!!!!!!

THANK YOU!!! This is the exact point I was trying to get across. But no matter what I said or how I said it, they all seemed to take it out of context and put words in my mouth. I hope they are able to put their personal emotions aside and see this from an outside perspective. Thanks again for your post!

Sorry--I got mad. Let's all take it with a grain of salt....negative things can happen in these types of situations. Again, I'm sorry you had a negative experience but this is a praise thread and I would like to keep it that way. Breny's integrity was questioned and that's why all her "followers" are retaliating.

HAHAHA! I remember when my big bro and I were rival brothers, always getting into fights. Now, all 3 of us (me and my 2 bros) are best friends. We're even moving in together! Crazy if you ask me.

Anyway, you just keep positive, and if the posts bothers you, put it on mental ignore. You know what your experience was, and you did your job by giving an honest review. You did your part and you can feel good about it.

T Doll, I found my breeder from a different forum. I was going for a biewer. Just so you know, I'm nt on this thread to bash Breny as I specifically stated I never got a chance to buy a pup from her. I can say she does love her dogs and want the best for them.

This is the very 1st time I have had the experience to feel really bad and sick to my tummy for arguing with someone on this forum. I have never gotten into any arguments or disagreements on YT in the 2.5 years I have been a member, and I never will again. I had managed to stay drama free and today that ended and I'm sad. I'm sad that a positive thing turned negative and that I allowed it to get the better of me, it will not happen again, my friends on here know I am not that type of member. If anyone would like to know more about my experience with my breeder who I think is wonderful-Breny, please contact me via PM.

My puppy Reesie is doing wonderfully and thank you to all who have complimented him. He is a doll, a handful LOL, but a total doll.

Had she have asked me for a deposit earlier, I would've put one down. Isn't the breeder supposed to be the one who asks for a deposit? I didn't think the proper protocol was for the buyer to out right offer one first

I had no idea that she was discussing the sale of this boy with another prospective buyer (she mentioned nothing of the sort). At no point during our conversations, did I ever give her the impression that I might not be interested, so I just don't understand why she would go ahead and accept a deposit from someone else. It was like she sold him from right under my nose One day we were discussing arrangements of how/where I would pick up the puppy, and then the very next day she says "I'm so sorry, he's already been sold"!

I thought this was very unprofessional and I was extremely sad (and shocked) to hear that she already sold him. She really got my hopes up...my heart sank when I found out he was already sold. I just wish that Breny had been more professional about her dealings. She could've easily let me know that there was another prospective buyer, or she could've asked me to put down a deposit on the boy.

Fortunately, in the end it all worked out, since I ended up getting an amazing little boy from another wonderful YT breeder. I don't mean for this post to bash Breny in any way, and I believe that she is a reputable breeder with quality puppies. I just hope she realizes that the way she went about with the whole dealing, was very wrong and unprofessional. It was like she strung me along and then suddenly shut the door in my face. I don't know if this was an isolated incident or not, but I hope no one else has had this kind of dealing with her and had to feel the way I did.

Breny, if this is how you normally deal with prospective buyers, please, please consider taking a better approach. Let people know if there are other prospective buyers and let them know when a deposit is required. And to anyone looking to buy a puppy from Breny, I would advise you to inquire about any other prospective buyers and also ask about a deposit as soon as you can, if there is a puppy that you have your heart set on.

I really hope I don't get any backlash from this post I know that people can tend to be a little biased when it comes to respected members of the forum. Please look at this post/feedback the same way you would if somebody was writing a review of a breeder outside of the forum. I know I personally appreciate all reviews, be it good or bad. I hope this post serves more as constructive criticism, rather than negative "bashing" of any sort

Then exactly what was your motive for this post? It seem ridiculous. It is common knowledge that if you want someone to hold a puppy for you, you make a deposit.

Goodness This was a long thread to read!

I thought I would just post and say I honestly know that I can not make EVERYONE happy and I for one am certainly not even close to perfect, but I do try my very hardest to produce healthy, well socialized puppies that I really try to match with the perfect families. Getting them into the best home for them and their personalities is my first concern.

I can take the bad reviews along with the good reviews and I will grow and learn from them

T Doll - congrats on your new boy and your breeder Shari is a wonderful person and has spectacular dogs...you must be very proud of him! I bet he is gorgeous.

Speaking as someone that knows neither of you, the way I look at it, a breeder or even a pet owner for that matter has the sole decision on where and to whom they want their pup or dog to go to. Would I be disappointed, sure, but when I homed my pups, it was my decision and no one elses.
Breny, your dogs are beautiful and I applaud you for caring which home they get.

Breny you are awesome!!!! Wish I could pat you on the back for such a wonderful reply!!! None of us are perfect and everyone sometimes has little hiccups come up in life. I can say that what ever happened in 2007 was in 2007 and you are a wonderful breeder now!!!!! AND I speak as someone who's never purchased a puppy from Breny but as someone who's watched her babies grow on YT!
