Jeanie, that video was taken 10 days after she had the pup.
She took that puppy to the vet the day she got her and the vet bill diagnosed as yeast infection in ear and prescribed Otomax.
From there on that same visit this vet proceeded to give this "supposedly" very sick 2lb puppy a full series of shots(Distemper, corona,parainfluenza, Parvovirus........AND A RABIES SHOT. (which Elaine had been told the pup had already had 3 series and to wait another week)
Plus the pup was given Heartguard Plus and Vectra K-9 for a 2-10# pup
Would a vet give a 2 lb puppy all of this if it was sick?
What is wrong with this picture?

Oh wow...I wouldn't have allowed all those with a well puppy. I'd find a new vet too.

HOLY COW I was not aware of all of that. Guess i need to read better. The OP should have know better than that, whe's been a YT member since 2006. NO RABIES TIL THEY ARE 6 MONTHS. Why heatrguard in the winter time in Jersey?

I just feel the whole story should be told and not just the parts the buyer wants to post.
No wonder that puppy got sick after that vet visit.

EXCUSE ME: I've been very good about keeping my mouth shut and have taken your crap about buying and knowing better because I deserved it. HOWEVER, know what you are talkking about. When I picked up Mia, she did not appear to be sick. Susan told me that the cough she had was cleared up. I believed her, which was my mistake. About a half hour into the ride home Mia began shaking her head and crying. I thought maybe ear mites, because when I looked in her ears they were dirty. I immediatly called my vet and took her right here, so not to expose my other Yorkies to anything. At the vet, she was diagnosed with Bilateral yeast AND Bacteria infections and a cough was present. She again did not appear that sick. The medicine Susan sent me home with as a precaution had no label on it. The vet chose to give her FRESH medicine since he did not know where it came from and Since Susan did not have the dosage on it. The dosage was to be sent to me via email which I told the vet. THE PUP ONLY RECEIVED HER RABIES AND DISTEMPER SHOT, WHICH SHE WAS DUE FOR IN A FEW DAYS. My vet felt it was safe to give it to her. SHE DID NOT GET Heartguard Plus and Vectra K-9. I spoke to Glenda and Susan about this and was even thanked by Glenda for taking her. I had no intentions on going any further with this, HOWEVER MIA was not getting better. She continued to cough and it was even more evident at night how sick she was. That week she was back to the vet on two different occassions. I did not run up a bill on her. The only test taken was a chest x ray to rule out pnemonia.

Since this information I do not believe I said here on YT tells me that YOU must be the one talking to Glenda so much. That's fine, and I wasn't going to post this for fear it would jeopardize animals but maybe you should read what YOUR FRIEND wrote me last night. I'll post it below. Trying to blackmail me into keeping my mouth shut or she'd put her older animals down because activists like me wouldn't like what they look like. I've been very upset over this.

"I am trying to decide what to do about my older dogs that I have loved and kept for so long. I called and talked to the vets that I have used for years and they has advised me that if you continue to try to threaten me and try to cause me trouble that I should put down all of my old guys that I have kept,loved and cared for, for so long including my 28 year old mare that I have had for 27 years. This is not because they are unhealthy or in any pain, but only because they are old and not attractive anymore so they will make activists like you unhappy to see."

Or how about this;

My Son who is 35 now learned to show horses with the old mare Precious and he is out in the pasture as I write this crying and talking to her -- telling her about a woman that he has never met that hates us so much that she is going to cause her to have to die for no reason other than looking old and I am sorry but that hurts me very much."

Is this a nice reputable person? Yet you keep gunning for me. I did not lie on here. I did not let Mia get sick, she was sick. If I did not have her she would probably have been dead in the hands of an inexperienced person. Yesterday, was she took a nice turn and is now playing etc. She still continues to struggle with a cough but that may linger awhile. AND, my vet has been checking in on her FREE, not charging me because we don't know if I'll even ever getting the $$ I paid out in vet bills.

And, then lastly she says (These statements I posted were just sent to me in an email last night)

"Like I said my Son has already said that he will borrow the money somewhere or sell something that we have to pay the vet bills on Mia."

In this statment she tries to make me feel guilty about getting the money for the vet bills. Susan has $1800 cash of my money there is no reason anythiing has to be borrowed or sold. AND, SUSAN HASN'T RESPONDED TO ANY OF WHAT I SENT TO HER.

I made the mistake of buying but don't you dare come on here and make like I'm lying about Mia being sick or make accusations that it was a shot that made her sick, etc. The shot my vet gave her did not make her sick, she was sick but how sick she was did not come out until later that night. At the time of the first visit same day I got her she had a cough and ear infections. Which a pup should not have been sold with, especially knowingly which Susan did.

Also, this is a very lucatrive business. I found online a judgement for $30,000 for pups sold by Glenda to someone, so don't make them out to be honest and me to be the bad guy here.

I cannot believe that a breeder would think that anyone would believe that she would put down all of her dogs, and a horse. That's a bit dramatic

How is Mia doing? Is he getting better?

Also I would definitely questiona a vet who gave rabies shots to one under 6 months old.

There is nothing wrong with this picture. She was seen not by one vet there but three vets. The intitial vet plus two others because we could not clear her up.

I never said Mia wasn't sick. I do feel for baby. It breaks my heart but I feel if you are going to attack someone then please tell the whole story.
Mia was given the whole series of shots and meds I stated per vet statement.
I was questioning why a vet would give her all of this?
The whole story still has not come to light, has it?

Jeannie, Mia is doing much better. She is playing with the other Yorkies yesterday and today. She has also gained some weight which is great. It was a very dramatic email, but she knows what buttons to push with me because we had conversations about things like this and she knew it would upset me. What I didn't post here too was that prior to that email I was told she would pay the vet bills if I agreed to sign a legal document stating that we never had any conversations, etc and it would be as if we never knew each other. I refused. I told her that my integrity was worth more to me then the money. I have been very good with both of them her and Susan. I don't know what breezeway is being told but I started out very nice with both of them and didn't send them one bill until after Mia was not responding. I was willing to eat the initial bill, until it became apparant how sick she was, when we were up to $250 and she was not getting any better, but seemed worse.

And, I waited to do this review, hoping I'd at the least be able to say that they did pay the bills and give them credit for that, but that did not happen instead I was sent;

"There is nothing that requires us to pay vet bills if the person refuses to return the puppy for me to vet or replace."

And, then told that I still owe them $300 which was not the case and says I can use that for vet bills.

"You know that you still owe 300 on Mia 200 to me and 100 to Susan for her delivery and I am willing to let you not pay that, but I am not willing to pay this bill that you continue to accrue"

Original price Glenda said she "THOUGHT" would be $2,000 Thought because the pup was already promised to Susan to sell. This is right in her email. When I went to see the pup I brought $1800 with me and made that offer. Susan accepted. And there certainly was no mention of a transport fee.

It was only AFTER I was ONLY after all this, that I wrote the review because I felt it met it's ending and I neither had any intention on paying the vet bills, so I was very fair with them.

They can say what they want about the pup being bought direct from Glenda, but Susan and Glenda are partners. Glenda has been sending pups to Susan and her daughter Shannon to broker for her for years. And, both even co-own a dog together which is at Susan's being used as a breeder. Susan and Glenda are great BS artists, but the emails speak for themselves.

I didn't mean to go off, but I did nothing wrong, accept use poor judgment on where I got my puppy from. I came on here expecting to take flack for that and I did and I deserved it but enough is enough. I am doing this so someone else learns from my mistake.

Jeanie this is a very common threat by millers and many will follow through with their threats. There are plenty of stories right on this forum of entire kennels being killed by horrible breeders. In addition there have been plenty of stories in the rescue forum of breeding dogs being dumped at shelters to be PTS when their usefulness is no longer needed.

Although what has happened with Elaine and her purchase of Mia the root of the problem is the breeder in question. Elaine did make several huge mistakes regarding her choice of breeders but that does not take away from the fact this puppy is so sick. Not sure why some are blaming the purchaser for a puppy's poor health when brought home from the breeder in question.

I have no idea what whole story you are refering to. Mia was given a Rabies and a Distemper shot. I do agree that it was not a good idea, but at the time neither of us realized how sick she was. At the time of the initial visit she had a cough and ear infections and was treated. As I said I told them about it but was not seeking at THAT TIME reimbursement. It was only AFTER when she was not getting better and the vet bills kept increasing that I asked, and asked nicely for reimbursement.

I am telling the truth. I made a mistake buying. I trusted both of them and that is the whole story. Susan can say I knew I was buying from Glenda, but why is it then that Shannon received a bunch of Xmas puppies on the same trip from Glenda to sell? And, why is it that Susan had a customer take the bigger female prior to me picking up Mia? And why is it then that the male was also sent when he did not even have a buyer? I know what I know and if someone is feeding you something differently, then you believe what you want. I really do not want to argue anymore. I posted so someone else learns from what I did. Plain and simple.

I am not questioning the poor health of the puppy, I am questioning why, if this 2 lb puppy was so sick that this vet gave her all of these vaccinations?
I am not blaming just the buyer, but I do not condone putting all the blame on the breeder either, when there is so much more that has not been told.

I am telling the truth. I made a mistake buying. I trusted both of them and that is the whole story. Susan can say I knew I was buying from Glenda, but why is it then that Shannon received a bunch of Xmas puppies on the same trip from Glenda to sell? And, why is it that Susan had a customer take the bigger female prior to me picking up Mia? And why is it then that the male was also sent when he did not even have a buyer? I know what I know and if someone is feeding you something differently, then you believe what you want. I really do not want to argue anymore. I posted so someone else learns from what I did. Plain and simple.
