| Don't go to this Groomer in MI!!! Debbie Smooch a Pooch, its in Madison Heights, MI off of Dequindre between 13 and 14 mile. Worst groomer ever! I will never recommend her to anyone. The owner is really rude and her helper needs to get a new brain. Just aweful! You don't want to go thru what I did. I've had a very tramatic day today. I brought Keely to work with me yesterday because she was supposed to go and get groomed. Half hour before she was supposed to go the groomer called and cancelled on me and rescheduled for today. Took her there today at noon. Told the woman what I wanted done. I told her 3 times to not cut her ears. Just trim off around her face do not cut her ears whatever you do. They've been floppy since she was a puppy and it just fits her personality. Do not cut them. Went to lunch with my love Timmy and Tim called her to remind her to not cut the topknot too. We have been growing that since she was a pup. She said that she hadn't gotten to that part yet that she just finished cutting off all the hair on her ears and shaving them. I bust out crying at taco bell where we were having lunch. I was so upset. I know the hair is going to grow back but it just fits her so well and now this woman who I told mind you 3 TIMES not to cut her ears did so anyways. I've been balling my eyes out since like 12:30 this afternoon. The woman calls Tim and tells him that she is ready to be picked up and was wondering if he was picking her up because she didn't want me to come there and cause a scene. Tim told her that I was coming there and that I wouldn't yell at her. I wanted to yell at her so bad but I didn't. I just kept crying. I go to pick her up and the woman is trying to hug me and tell me it was miscommunication. I was like how can you not understand or even hear what I was saying. The owner of the shop gave me a dirty look. I was like what are you looking at me like that for. I said this is my child, my life! Dont you dare look at me that way. The lady goes there is no charge for her today. I was like yea ur right cause I didn't plan on paying for her in the first place. You made the mistake not me. Needless to say she's still my sweet little Keely Jo! But I'm still very upset about her ears being cut. I will not go back to that groomer ever! Later that evening when we were getting ready for bed I took out Keely's topknot pony tail to realize that infact she had cut about 2 inches off of her hair on the top of her head. After I asked her not to do that. And she assured me she hadn't. Please do not go to this groomer. Awful!! Never again!!! Just thought all you in Michigan would like to know. thanks!

| So sorry you had a terrible experience. You are very near where Sue's (Sue N Cricket) grooming shop is. I know she is moving, but she'll be at 16 and M-59. Her shop name is Hot Diggety Dogs. Sue is the one with the great grooming video that she sells and has Yorkies of her own. You wouldn't be disappointed with her.

| Stories like that make me trim my own two girls. At least if I mess up, I only have myself to blame and it didn't cost me anything

| my invitation to you First, let me say how sorry I am that you had such a terrible grooming experience with your Keely! I have been a groomer for 17+ years. I specialize in yorkies. I used to breed and show them. I have been grooming in Macomb county for several years, before that I was a mobile groomer. Right now I am in the process of moving my shop to a new location in Harrison Township. At 16 & Crocker, right near Metro Beach. Posh Paws will be opening just as soon as my builders are finished doing the interior work. I will be up and running in a few weeks. I will happily give you one free grooming to show you how a professional groomer cares for the pets, and their owners. This offer is good for July 2008 only. My shop # is 586-212-3663 Please call and I'll set up an appointment for you, on me! I will be booking appointments beginning June 27th, so call me on or after that date. Hair grows back, but it is still heartbreaking to know that your instructions were not followed, and the groomer was night bright enough to care for your pet the way you asked her to. Please see my website listed in the signature below to see what kind of person I am. I do put pets first. Sue & Cricket Quote:

| Thanks for the promo! I just responded to her post, and then read this. I offered her a free groom on me, so she can see what a professional groomer can do for her. Jodie, I'll let everyone here know when my grand opening is. Looks like sometime in July. I hope to see you there! PS my new shop will be called POSH PAWS Sue & Cricket Quote:

| I'm so sorry about your groomer. I'm terrified to take my babies to one. Since Mike and I are moving to MD in two weeks were going to have his mom do and so we can be there to watch. There are no good groomers here in York, PA. Or at least none that we've taken his grandmothers dogs to. One groomer got pissed off at Mike's grandmother because she told them they did something wrong the last time and not to do it again (I forgot what it was), so because they were mad at her, they pretty much shaved down her dogs. She was very upset. Yes, their hair grew back, but they never should have done what they did. |

| I feel your pain..this past March Zoe was shaved to the skin..against my orders! It was horrible and she is just now starting to look like a yorkie again. Needless to say, that was my 6th groomer and the last one. Zoe is a bit harder to cut for me because she is so fluffy but thankfully Peppee is a breeze...I'll get it down one day!

| I SWEAR that groomers are just like hairdressers....they seem to think they know what is best and they do not listen to what their customers want!!! The last time I brought Teddi to the groomers I brought pictures and everything and there were instructions on a paper but I don't think she read it. I specifically said don't cut her topnot and she cut off an inch or more and I specifically said don't shave anything and she shaved between here eyes. It's so hard to find a good groomer...believe me...I know you pain!!! It's very frustrating!
