Yes, I agree and have had breeders call me asking what to do, what to do. Simply: If you think there is a problem Get the dog to the vet. Don't wait! DO IT! In the first place, they should have verified the bloodlines of the sire and dam. But too late when the female is in labor.

| ![]() Hi and welcome to YT. I am so sorry you are being harassed, I would let admin know about the pm's The picture On your website of your babys are so cute. I also think that your prices are very high, But your not the first breeder with those prices. and its your own bussiness what you sell them for. The word "teacup" Is just a word, It does not bother me one bit. Its just another word as small, toy, tinie. I would not remove it from my web-site just because others dont agree with it. The only Thing I didnt like is the breeding of a female smaller then 5 lbs. JMO and I would never do that. But each are own and just because we dont agree dont give us a right to be mean to you or anyone else and send you threatning pms. |

| ![]() I just saw on your "chocolate" page that you sell the pups with full registration. Why would you not sell them with limited registration so that they cannot be bred? Only those that are show quality should be sold with showing and breeding rights. But I guess since you don't show, you wouldn't know which ones are show quality and which aren't. I wouldn't want to chance selling a 2lb "teacup" puppy to someone who might breed it. Those tinies could die if bred. All reputable breeders sell their non-show quality puppies with limited registration. Reputable breeders want to protect their lines and the lives of their puppies.

| ![]() my fairlacy, every post you have made in this thread has been chocked full of misinformation. reputable breeders/show breeders wouldn't do this and wouldn't do that. You are very mistaken in thinking that all the dogs they sell are sold with limited registration. sure, that is the only way some will sell but to say that those that don't sell limited aren't reputable is just wrong. i have found that if you research, search and search you can find reputable show breeders that will sell with full rights. especially if you are willing to pay extra for those rights. ![]() Of course there are exceptions--breeders willing to place dogs with the rights under the right circumstances, but not just as a general practice. I think that is what myfairlacey was getting at...those who do--or maybe I should say, those who won't do it--everyday without working out many fine details with the new owners first. ![]() Last edited by BamaFan121s; 09-14-2007 at 02:33 PM. | |

I don't want this to be an argument. I don't think we should say that "all" breeders should do this or not do that or that "all" show breeders do this or do that. Why would I want to limit a puppy registration from 2 dogs that are exactly the same as the puppies whether petite type or chocolate color? Unless I felt the dog should not be bred because of its size or for fear maybe a novice breeder would get ahold of it and breed it to a Big dog. But to group the whole breeder world into "Reputable breeders only do this and Reputable breeders only do that is a mis-statement in my opinion. I have met breeders who limit everything. So that does not make them reputable, just because they limit the papers. Do you see where I am going with this? I would think that a lot of limited papers are because a breeder is afraid of someone else breeding what they have and capitalizing on their lines. Some would say that is a form of greed. And if you think that only dogs that are show quality should be bred, and it seems that you may think that only show breeders are the only reputable breeders around. then you are thinking with a very closed mind and do not know a lot of the breeders that I have became acquainted with over the years and yes, a few show breeders. I have tried to breed for quality always, just a bit smaller version and I love the chocolates. I would like to see them shown some day and have heard some breeders are requesting it. Showing is not for everyone. But I do love the fine little show dogs and know that there is a tremendous amount of work involved and it is their life 24/7 just as my dogs are mine.
