a brewier is a yorkie right and there white and a parti is a yorkie and there white and they look basically the same so what is the difference besides the brewiers coming from germany im sitting here confused lol help plz

The Biewers can be traced back to German lines -- where they developed a standard. The Parti's can be traced back to AKC lines -- and they haven't developed any standard. There is a lot of information here on YT -- if you do a search for "Biewer" or "Parti" you can find out alot!

There are Biewer puppy pictures on my website and in the nursery if you want to see the noses on the Biewers. They do go from pink to black in the first few weeks.

Really anyone trying to explain each in a post is impossible.

I would advise you 'goodle' each and see what there is to offer. Buy every book you can find and check out the library. I would think after you do all that you will have somewhat of an idea of each. I know a little and that is all. One thing I remember is you must breed one regular yorkie with a biewer.

Well I have only had 2 litters with parti's as of right now.. I am almost 70 yrs old and Don't want alot of litters. I love pups so I do breed a couple litters here and there, I was a Chow breeder and showed chows for 20 yrs but Can't groom or lift them any more.. so I turned to the little guys.. I just love them.. BUT do miss the sweet puppy breaths from time to time.. Loretta

Well the two are alot alike... The Biewer can't be reg with AKC as AKC has no way of knowing what parents the pups came from ..Plus they would have to be from 2 AKC parents..

In order to get the tri -color ,both are about the same.. they have to have the Parti genes on both parents, So If one is standard color, they would have to be bred to a tri color, or a carrier, and then their pup could possibly have a tri-color pup. Once you have a tri-color, you would breed to the same for a full litter of that color. Otherwise You could get carrier colors in the litter, Which is like a standard with alot of white. If You have 2 carriers, You can get both also.

The colors are also different.. The Parti's they want alot of white and The Biewers Want the black.. I think they state they want a black saddle. but you would have to go to their site..

The Parti's tails are docked as they are considered a Yorkie where the Biewers are not docked..

To me, the 2 are just beautiful.. I love them both.. as far as the biewers getting to be a Breed of their own with AKC.. It might take as long as 10 yrs. as thats how long alot of the breeds have taken.. I would love to see it happen... Loretta

Thanks alot Loretta, I think I really understand it now. These two pups were from AKC parents I assume. Ruben will be glad to know he should dock the tail.

1 week old today! The new born boy is 6.3 ounces and the parti girl is 5.9 ounces as of 9pm EST today. They were born early in the morning at 7am - 10am one week ago so I weighed them a little late today (should of been in the morning to get the true 1 week weight).

They are doing well eating and sleeping like crazy! The mother is active (when not feeding) and doing well too.

No, the tails are getting docked tomorrow. My vet and others around here do it on the 7th or 8th day after birth. He doesn't do the 3 - 5 day way. I think it has to do with the size and health.

Today the tails got docked and the dew claws got removed on both puppies. My wife and I decided docking the tails would be what we would like the most. Everything went well and the puppies are back home eating and sleeping again :)

Wow ! The breeder that I bought Teddy from thought that he must have been a product of her Jack Russell getting into the mix because the other two puppies in his litter were regular colored yorkies. Now I'm wondering if he is actually a parti and not a mix like she originally thought. She seemed sure that she kept the momma away from the jack russell while she was in heat, but then she thought he must have gotten in because of teddy's coloring. because of that she didn't even bother trying to get papers for any of them and she just sold them as pets without papers.

anyone have an opinon on this?

Here are a couple of new pics, he just got another haircut - he looks bald, but still adorable. The breeder is going to be so upset that she didn't bother to try and get papers for him or any of his litter mates because she thought he was a mix and its looking more and more like he isnt. :D
