oops ... you're right, it's a 50/50 chance when breeding a standard dog to a carrier dog. Half of the pups will be carriers and half will be standard. Thanks!

Well I for one have never heard on seen a white being born to a standard color before, I talked to the breeders in my area and they have never heard of it either. and I think its just amazing. Its funny when trying to tell these older breeders about them , they think im nuts. lol They say there must of been another dog that got the female. the whole time shanking their head no. They dont have internet and dont learn and see what we see and hear. what took them years and years to learn we learned in minutes of reading. This site has learned me so much and so has the internet and Im so thankful for that. But I guess when a breeder is set in their ways they just refuse to hear any thing new or not the same . But Thank you for sharing your litter with us, Momma daddy and baby's are all so adorable. I would have to keep both pups . lol and Im so sorry you lost the other little sweetie.
Well sense my Breeders wont listen to any thing different maybe some day they will have a white baby and see for them selfs and if that shocks them , Ill be happy to take it from them. lol ( I wish ) lol I would keep the tail on the parti just to see how it turns out. please keep showing us their pictures as they grow.

Oh Rueben First of all condolences for the lost boy. But way to go with the parti. I would keep her also. As for the tail I'm not sure what I would do. But I do want to say I love your parents they are beautiful, and also very lucky.
I think I would of crapped seeing a white pup as well I loved the isablec story too. That was cute. Just wanted to welcome and Congrats.

Well finally someone showed a parti from 2 standard Yorkies.. Thes have been in the breed for years and years but none of the breeders wanted anyone to know about them... So they were petted out and culled. All the show breeders will tell you they never seen one in any of the well known lines,

I love the parti's.. I have a few.. Yes you do dock their tails as they are yorkies.. They can be registered with AKC but you have to send in 2 pictures , front and side, with the litter papers. Also a color code no of 014 which is the tri color.

It definitely sounds like your mom is a carrier as a carrier has alot of white on them.. Front , beard, feet. etc.. But the sire has to be one also, as the parti gene has to be on both sides,

Wow, that's pretty cool. I've never seen those parti colored Yorkies as babies.:)

I know the Biewer Yorkshire Terrier does not dock their tail.

Here's a picture of the Biewer and info. They are registered in the German Registry but they have their own standard and show here in the states but not AKC and I don't think they want them to go AKC....they are really protecting them and they are quite expensive.

Wow, I've never seen a white parti yorkie before, they are beautiful. I want one now! :)

I have been looking at lots of pictures of Parti and Biewer yorkies for the last few days. What I have noticed that is different about our newborne parti yorkie is that her nose is pink unlike all the pictures I've seen online.

All the parti and Biewer puppies and adults online have black noses. Will the nose change to black as she gets older or do I have something extra special?

Yes... she'll have the cutest little black nose -- probably within a couple of weeks... if you look at the biewer and parti newborns -- you'll see little pink noses and feet...

Yes, I see they have pink noses but dark tipped noses. This girl we have here has a bright pink nose unlike all the newborn parti's I have seen.

Yes the pups nose will turn black.. Most are born with pink noses but hopefully they will turn Black by the time they are adults..

Hi Tammy. Fizz is still small but so full of herself.. She is almost over 3 1/2 lbs now so I am hoping she will reach 4... I dearly love her.. she is such a charcter and really tries to run things with all the other kids.. NO one steps FIZZ!! LOL.. Loretta

My wife always wanted a Maltese as well because they look kind of similar to yorkies but white (she loves small white dogs). I guess her dream came true with our newborn parti except it's the best of both worlds, she is a yorkie and she is white! They are just so damn cute!

It still really hasn't hit me yet as to how rare this is. I am still taking it all in.

You are lucky indeed!! The parti Yorkies are so gorgeous...of course, I may be a tad biased because I have one myself. Not only are they pretty but they still have the typical "Yorkie spunk"!
