| I Am So Scared! So Upset! I just got back from the Vet and well, It is confirmed. Peaches is Pg. With one Puppy! It was NOT planned! Just incase some do not know the story. I thought "maybe" in the future I Might breed my Peaches. But b4 I decided I wanted to research, learn and have her checked out b4 the descision was made. Well needless to say it happened! Shes Pg. with one Pup and the Vet says it is to large for her to pass. She needs a C-section. I am so scared. I dont want to loose her. I dont even want to think how much its going to cost. I cant stop crying... I am so stressed out!

| well at least you know she needs a c-section and it can be schedule. most people end up in the middle of the night looking for an emerg vet that is opened. good luck to you.

| JoyRene, I'm sorry that this is happening to you and Peaches. I too would check other vets in your area to see if they would schedule the c-section for Peaches. An ER vet would probably be much more expensive. What breed of dog got Peaches PG? How big is Peaches? Sorry for all the 's. "Good Luck" to you both. Please keep us informed.

Calm down, everything is going to be fine. You're lucky that you know what you know and can take care of this. Remember your lil girl needs you now. So, get as much info and education you can gather before the big event. Mary

| My vet thought my Jasmine might have needed a c-section when she was pregnant awhile ago (she didn't). Anyway... I was told to call them when she was in labor ... after about 1 hour into it... for the c-section. I think they don't want to go in too early... They had her due date and just prepared to be around then.... My Jasmine delivered two nice sized pups on her own ... no problem.
