Somebody get this girl!

Wow! I am LOVING this post!!! I have several thoughts: For a reputable breeder living by herself and treating the animals correctly, I do understand someone not wanting to come to her house. When we were placing Rosie's puppies, we did not list our home phone number so that someone could look it up, and I only allowed people to come see them when my husband (who can appear large and scary, ha ha!) was home so they would see what they would have to deal with. AND... I always put it in the contract that I would make one home visit 4 - 6 weeks after the puppy was placed.

BUT. This woman sounds loony! Is anyone for sure that she is actually reputable? Is the puppy even REAL? Or could this be an adoption scam?

I live in MI also but would be all OVER this! As would my husband. Personally, if someone wants this baby rescued and has the $350 to do it - I don't see it as supporting her, I see it as saving the puppy. Because right after that, the woman gets reported. But how will anyone find out where she is if someone doesn't at least meet her first?? On the bright side, she does not appear to be abused or mistreated/undernourished. Small? Yes. She is being held in the crook of an arm. I don't think the entire story is being given and I would put a donation towards anyone willing to take some action on this..

No, I'm not sure if she is actually reputable. I posted to see if anyone here has had any experience with her, but I didn't get any replies yet. She's not willing to let me buy the dog since I'm not local. I started getting annoyed with her emails, and this was the last correspondence I had with her:

Well, to get back to the subject at hand, I hope and pray that Brandy finds a wonderful home where she will be loved and spoiled. Since you have already told me no because I don't live locally, I don't see a reason for us to continue corresponding so please don't email me again. Thanks and best of luck to little Brandy.

Ok, this is going to sound really mean on my part but....Hello, knock knock!! Anyone home?! She seems to be "out to lunch.". Or as my husband puts it when he thinks that someone is not quite there, "The elevator doesn't seem to be reaching the top floor."

I have been meaning to find the time to read this whole thread...and wow...I am shocked by this womans ignorance!! I hope there is a resolution to this and will follow this thread intensly now...good luck ladies...I hope you find out who she is and where she lives and have her investigated!!

Is she from NJ or PA? I saw a thread saying she is from NJ but if you check her cell number the location is Bethlehem, PA. I wasnt sure if anyone already checked on this and it got me wondering which is it.

She's something else. The last email I got from her was pretty mean, and I hadn't even said anything mean to her first! It's like she just SNAPS over the littlest thing!

There was 3 kittens that showed up under my fence in my back yard and I kept them in a pet carrier until monday that was like a month ago, they showed up on friday evening in my back yard and I called animal control but they was out till monday so I kept them in a carrier and got food from my neighbor (The one who called HS) and then on monday the AC came and picked them up. I can't have cats my 11.5 yr. old is highly allergic to them. Well my neighbor that lives right next to her (I live across the road from her) took me over there one day while she was gone and it stunk like cat pee, they did have food and water but my neighbor that lives next to her says she goes over and checks on them and sometimes they have NO FOOD OR WATER so she will give them both!! I couldn't beleive ANYONE would put those kittens out there like that all over the REASON she did, favorisim (Spelling there) over her children (Will post this in another post if U'd like me to tell the whole story, theres more to it then this!!!!!) it's sick, she does get them out once in a blue moon to play with them, the mommy is so skinny now I'd say the babies are like maybe 6 to 8 weeks old?? Well anyways the lady @ the HM said she was so mad she was gonna call the police cause Animal Control was gone for the week, well NO ONE has ever came over there yet!!!!!! I'm just about tempted next week to call, it's been in the lower 90's here and it's suppose to get back up there next week and the humidity is bad here too I know they will soon go if something isn't done, what do U all think, should I call AC or not? So I didn't meet her; don't yell at me yet....

I called her; her person already took the poodle supposedly. She is catching on that it is my voice though I think; don't really care though. Her number is a PA number...however she lives on the border to PA which is Phillipsburg. I got tired of calling and hearing the way she talks to the dogs...while trying to sell them. And the way she words her emails...like these dogs are mearly cash to her. So I reported her myself to the Warren County SPCA. I don't know what they will do. But I called her in with her "Top Shelf Puppy" name and then told them the story. I explained I don't have an address because she only wants to meet up in strange locations...and won't even tell me her car. So They said that they can track the name and then get in touch. I told them the first name and the website that her dogs are on...they were VERY nice and said they will be taking it under investigation. SOOOO I guess thats where it lies. I am a Criminal Justice major..the last thing I wanted to do was to stalk her back to her house and get caught following her then not be able to get a job in the near future( next january =) ) So I figured reporting her is the best bet. I will check back with her in a few weeks to see if she has any more puppies Just to see if she got shut down or not. This woman was a trip and I am glad for all the ideas to help!!! It just really bothered me the way she spoke to me...and her dogs. VERY unprofessional. And seems to have fallen off her rocker.

I'm glad you reported her! Good for you!! If there's anything I can do to help, let me know. I didn't have time to call her today, but maybe I will put it off until next week since you reported her. I am only concerned about the dogs, I just have a feeling she doesn't treat them very well. The way she spoke to you was the same way she spoke in the emails she sent me. She seems pretty unstable to me. And, you said she yells at the dogs and she even hit one. I think you did the right thing by reporting her. I wasn't a fan of stalking her or anything like that. I just want to make sure those dogs are okay. I can't stand for animals to be mistreated, there is no reason for it!!!

Yes, call them! I'd keep calling and calling until they do something! It's too hot and she's not even making sure they have enough food and water.

Good for you! I think that was the best thing to do and it looks like the SPCA is interested in investigating her. Glad you did that!
