Terrible breeder - Please pass along

I am sooo sorry for your situation.

I do have to admit now though, that I got my Luigi from Terri. This was before I even knew about YT here, and about puppy mills, and all that. I had no clue she was like she was. We drove out to her house to see 2 males she had. And we had to stay in the office or whatever it was..and little Luigi came right up to me. I knew he was ours! So the next day we took her the money and brought him home! No instructions, no nothing...but what did I know! Weeg did get sick in the first few weeks, but since then he has been healthy...thank god!

We even had friends go out and buy ffrom her too, because....none of us knew any better.

But, we never got our papers, They never got papers...nothing. We all called her numerous times, and nothing. Finally, one ofour friends hired and attorney, and the attn was able to get in touch with her.

Her husband told her attorney that she was in the hospital, because she had a break down from the death of her son. She was in for 4 monthes or so....or so we were told.

After many attmepts, the attorney finally set a court date, and that is when she miraculousy came out of the hospital to give my friend her papers, as well as our papers, and another friend of ours their papers. It was well over a year later we got our papers. UGH!

But I have heard that she was shut down 2 or 3 times, and that she has reopened under new names. I have heard many horror stories about her and her kennel......Its very, very sad....she does need to be shut down for good.

If I knew what I knew then, would I ever buy from her again...NO! But I love my Weeg with all my heart, and he is the best boy ever! He is sooo loving, sooo sweet, good with people, kids...other dogs...I love, LOVE, LOVE him sooo much!

But I would love to see this woman shut down.....

I would contact the district attorney, file a police report, file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau; if you used paypal or a credit card notify them. Contact the Yorkies Club and the AKC.

I haven't gotten my papers. I have written to The People's Court TV show and hopefully they will accept my case. I'll let you all know. It would be easy for me because it is only a short train ride to NYC and it would cost me minimally because they pay you for your appearance.

Her contract says all litigation must be done in Ohio, however I feel our contract is void because I did not receive what we contracted for, which makes the contract breached. I remember hearing similar things in a business law class I took. Anyone agree? I will ask the People's Court, too.

Oh my goodness, I am SO sorry to hear about what you are going through! We just bought a new baby girl about 3 weeks ago and I can't even IMAGINE going through something like this - I just feel so awful for you

It sounds like you are doing everything right and GOOD FOR YOU for e-mailing that NASTY woman and telling her off! She knows exactly what she's doing and I'm sure that isn't the first e-mail like that that she's received from one of her buyers

Please keep us posted and I hope like heck that you can do something to get this woman SHUT DOWN FOR GOOD!

How CRAZY that she has information in her contract about litigation!!! Obviously someone has taken her butt to court before!!

This is simply horrible!! Just a suggestion .... could you contact your FOX affiliate in your area or her area and perhaps get them interested in a story similar to the one FOX26NEWS in Houston did on Brushy Creek Kennels?!? Sometimes that's the only thing that can get any action against these monsters! Good luck and I pray that you can get some justice for these innocent victims!

Not crazy at all. Most breeders DO have a clause about litigation for certain things. This does not mean that anyone "has taken her butt to court' before.

Having a clause in your contract is for the protection of the puppy, not the breeder.

I received my Mim's 1 week later than I should have due to a spot on her ear which the breeds said was not ringworm but something else. I took her to my vet the next day he could not beleive she sent the dog the way she did 1500. and my baby took 2 mos to get over whatever it was, I sent her the pic's of Mim's ears inside & out she never responded to me. I know it is not as bad as your baby I just wish I had taken the steps you are. I love her so much I just spent the money to maker her better and will never buy for Gloria Shank again in Delmont Pa. DBA Glorun. She was born on my birthday and 15 miles from my Gpas farm I thought it was a sign. Well it was and I love her. I will only buy within my state from now on

We picked up Coco at the airport on Friday night and needless to say, we were very surprised. You know as well as we do that the puppy you sent was not the puppy pictured on your site which we agreed to. Unfortunately for me, I trusted you and only later did I see alot of negative feedback about you and your kennel. But I was hoping what I read would not happen to me.

First off, as soon as we looked in her mouth we knew she had too many teeth to possibly be 12 weeks old. She looks nothing like the puppy pictured on the website, and with all our communications back and forth, or should I say non-communication on your part, I did start to worry, and obviously rightly so.

I brought her for her vet check on Sunday (my vet is open on Sunday), and the first thing he said when he looked in her mouth is that there is no way this puppy is the age that the breeder says. She is very big now, to be either 8 or 12 weeks old, as you promised she would only end up to be 4.5 pounds at the max. SHE IS ALREADY 4.7 POUNDS UPON ARRIVAL TO ME, AS IF YOU DIDN'T KNOW. The vet says she will end up to be about 9 pounds..that is not what you represented on your site. She also has a big vein in one of her eyes that must be treated with medication.

If I wanted a 9-10 pound yorkie, I could have bought one here without shipping her for about $700. YOU ROYALLY RIPPED ME OFF.

In talking to people who have dealt with you in the past, and I will not reveal my sources, I understand that the pictures on your website have not changed in forever. So the puppies you are showing are not what people are getting, and I don't understand how you can state who the parents of these puppies are, and lie about it. It also was strange that you told me that I would have to wait maybe another week or so before I got the puppy, and as soon as I told you I would like to drive to you, the story changed, and all of a sudden all flight reservations had been made many days before she was coming, when you originally told me that you cannot make reservations for puppies more than 48 hours in advance. You have continually changed your story throughout our communications.

Before I was feeling uncomfortable with you, a friend of mine was looking for a Yorkie for his sister, and I told him where I was getting mine. He had no idea which one on your site was mine. Coincidentally, he fell in love with the same one, and contacted you about it, and what do you know! You offered the same puppy to him and offered to ship her to him in 2 days! He sent you her photo and the exact description on your website (copy and pasted). There was no mistaking which puppy he meant. The two of us were shocked and infuriated and that's when I figured it all out. You are scamming people who are trusting you that you are sending the puppies pictured and then you send whatever you want, with the excuse that they are a little older, and that they look a little different. I don't know how you can look at yourself in the mirror.

I understand that the leukemia you told me you just found out about, which was your excuse as to why you weren't answering my phone calls and emails, was told to other people months ago, as your excuse for treating them the same way. There has to be a reason why you don't want anyone to visit your kennel. What are you afraid of? It seems like all you are in it for is the money, as you told my friend you could not tell him your address until you got his deposit, and why you only accept certified checks. When I read your contract I was very surprised to read a clause in it about litigation. You obviously have been sued before.

Well, you have picked the wrong person to scam this time. Not only am I reporting you to the proper authorities, but anyone who looks on the web for a Yorkie or a Maltese and checks before they buy from you, will definitely stay far away from your kennel after they read about my experience, which I will shout from the rooftops! I will be contacting Consumer Affairs, the Attorney General's Office, and I have friends in the police department. And hopefully you will be shut down.

YES....she has been taken to court before. Actually, I don't think it actually went to the court room, but there were talks between lawyers for both sides, and her side agreed to send out the papers! So it never officially went to court. That is how I actually got my papers.

I have a legal question that maybe someone here knows the answer to....

Is it possible to sue a breeder/puppy mill on behalf of their mistreated animals? You know how a child is appointed a court representative in cases of abuse...why can't the People of a State sue a puppy mill for punitive damages ($$$) on behalf of their mistreated and abused animals? We've all seen the PETA videos of diseased dogs and dogs living with neglect and untreated medical conditions in puppy mills. Why can't criminal charges be brought against the owners for ABUSE. I'm not talking about just shutting them down...I'm talking about suing them for the money they've earned from these animals and putting them in jail for neglect and abuse of a living being.

When you dispute in Paypal, they have a place where you can document everything. I'd just keep printing out and saving everything in your Coco file.

YEs...keep records of everything...all emails, all phone calls! Lets see if they really do get a lawyer for this....I highly doubt it. And wait and see what happens. Stay strong...Do not give in.
