Personally I don't look for a specific atribute like a short snout. As long my baby is healthy and on the standard, Im happy. I think Gucci's snout is medium, not short not long. I could be wrong. But I love her either way. The first 2 pics are of Gucci when she was 12 weeks old, and the last 2 are recent pics.

I think that everyone's babies here are beautiful. Every Yorkie is beautiful.

hi all

here in the UK were the yorkie comes from there is no such thing as a baby faced yorkie just as there is no such thing as a teacup.
my rosie has a rosie face which is what makes me love her, but if people on here think she has a long snout they must think she isnt lovely and thats sad coz ALL YORKIES ARE LOVELY.

I agree with you Wendy - I love all yorkies and try not to label the face - your Rosie IS beautiful....Trends and new names & labels don't take away from the fact that the average yorkie is just too cute for words -

As the original poster said, it is a trait SHE likes personally because she feels these dogs keep their puppy look longer. It is not a criticism to those yorkies with longer snouts, just a personal preference when choosing a pet. I think most of us agree that ALL YORKIES ARE BEAUTIFUL!!!

I got her in Pearland TX...a very small breeder who had a beautiful home ...I met the mom & dad and 4 other puppies. I joke how I named her Cheri cause she was so sweet I HAD to pick her - but in actuality - she picked me....Her name is really Cherish ...and as far as a sister for Chanel - I'm really happy with her - it took about 5 months of looking to find her.
