| Don't judge a book by it's cover. Piper has excellent composition though he is not fine boned. He is the grandsire of my Connor and Connor is gorgeous and proving it on the circuit. I own a grandneice of his as well who has a topline and tailset to die for. Piper comes out of Exmoor's Peter Piper go Romine who was sired by Rothby's Renegade, so the genes can't be beat!

| He reminds me alot of Connor when he was a pup. Is it the pup out of Parker & Jonesy or out or Riley & Natalie? If it's out of Parker & Jonesy than it's Connor's full brother or sister. I'd love to have the pup out or Riley and Natalie since Cricket didn't get large enough to breed.

| So if I understand right your Trace has Legg Perthes and so did Lady Hawks/Tami's Cricket? They both are grandchildren out of Pied Piper and came from Jenda's Yorkies?

| I've never seen a different picture of Piper so it may be the picture. Isn't it odd that Tremar and Fondarosa used the same pic. I can't argue about Piper's quality, having never seen him in person. Connor got his quality from somewhere.

| Your info is correct. We don't know if the Legge-Perthes is genetic or not but if it were I would guess that it comes through Piper's dam who is out of Virdels. I base this guess on the fact that I rather doubt that it came through Rothby's Renegade. He's sired so many champions that if it ran through his line it would be showing up everywhere. It could also be from assisting a posterior presentation at birth. I have yet to discuss this with Mary Lou so I don't know if Cricket was assisted at birth or not.

| I personally would not purchase from Termar or Fondarosa.. I believe if someone is going to breed for a litter of pups, they need to try to improve with each litter and I do not see either of them achieving that goal.. Plus I have not heard alot of encouraging comments concerning either one.. JMO..

| I don't know how old Trace was but Cricket was 7 monthes old when she was diagnosed. I have been promise a replacement pup since she was purchased as a show/ broodbitch. We are waiting for a female out of the Durrer lines to come into heat for the replacement pup. Because of the genetic question I can't breed Connor to a dog from his line so I have to look outside. There are several that Mary Lou has had that I would take but she was afraid that there might be trouble down the road. Mary Lou and Jen have stayed in touch with me and I have no reason to believe that they will not remain true to their word.
