I've never seen one in person either, but Cruiser and Erin's Gus Gus (who is my favorite dog ever and Cruiser's brother if I remember correctly) are both imported from Germany and are both GORGEOUS!

Rini! I always thought Criuser was a TRUE BIEWER. I spun this thread up to differentiate any confusion as to what a TRUE BIEWER is..nothing more. Maybe you misunderstood me in one of my posts. I don't know what you have so how can I possibly say you don't have TRUE BIEWERS. I said this before and I am gonna say this again..You have to breed TRUE BIEWER to TRUE BIEWER to have a TRUE BIEWER..that's my whole point!!! Nothing more. I am passionate about this wonderful breed. I have to say I am irritated when they are mentioned in the same sentence. Not at the person saying it....but that the 2 breeds are considered as one...I am NOT bitter or upset or angry at anyone.

ok...take a deep breath count to ten...grap a drink and well -- take another deep breath. You have to remember you are dealing with "average joe"...and we/they do not know the difference....it is going to take time- and lots of it- and patience as this breed develops- if you don't relax a bit...you will end up stressed all the time--JMO....remember your audience....

I feel like I've been beat up, run over by a semi, stomped on, and then beat up again. I am still wondering why I am ganged up on when I talk about BIEWERS when I always ALWAYS ALWAYS try to keep things positive and light hearted??? :confused: ...Again, thinking out loud, not expecting answers...

Let me say this..I have nothing negative to say about RINI. I never even met her in person. I talked to her on the phone a long time ago.

I meant nothing more than to separate my name and what I say from her name and what she says..she's done that in the past. I never took offense to it..I wish I could just give Rini her name back..lol. Mine is just a nick name.

As for the Biewer. I only speak to what I have..that's it period end of story. In my house I have BIEWERS they are NOT mixed with YORKIES. I added True because I wanted to make it CRYSTAL CLEAR, that BIewers bred to YORKIES are a MIX of 2 breeds.

All I'm gonna say this again to answer Rini's question about 'TRUE' that is to differentiate Biewers from BIewer Yorkie MIxes.
I would like to say first, that I am sorry IRENE, I didn't know there even was another Rini, but I wont make the mistake again. Please accept my apologies.

I also will only have TRUE Biewers in my home, because I too believe if you cross them with a standard yorkie, they become a mixed breed. But that is just my opinion.....

You don't have to apologize. I did it for myself too. I never know which 'Rini' is being referred too. We often post on the same threads.

It's not an opinion anymore Lori. It's in black and white if you look at the standard doesn't say 'you can mix with a Yorkie' anywhere! Not even on my pedigrees. Believe me, I am fully aware I am the minority in this thought process..what a shame for the BIEWER..but that's OK..I'm gonna do what I can!

Seriously...passion is all right in small doses- if you OD on it...you will end up burned out- thats all I am saying, and the education is just beginning---pace yourself...if that makes sense-

my guess is it is a typo- and someone is being a bit too sensitive-- it is a joke...grab another shot- then re-read it as if there were no spelling errors...some of us can't type perfectly-

The only difficult part of getting a Biewer puppy directly from Germany was the wait for a puppy and getting through customs at JFK !!!
Seach Biewer Yorkies and many German breeder sites will come up. That is what we did. ;) ;)
