Just what is the YTCA afraid of? The parti will overcome the standard of the yorkshire terrier? Must be afraid of something. You never answer anything I ask . You just skirt around with your little innuendos like little school girls giggling. Grow up for petes sake.

I hate to break to you but you few aren't the only YTCA Members. You few don't make all the rules.

The Yorkies that are blue/tan...blue/gold...black/tan...etc...are all dilutions of the same color....Adding white to the mix is altogether a different genetic matter...

If Parti color was allowed and Partis were repeatedly bred to blue/tan yorkies then eventually we would lose the blue/tan yorkies...A parti bred to a parti produces ALL partis...Sooner or later all yorkies would carry the parti gene...Allowing this to happen would not be protecting the Yorkshire Terrier as a breed...

I am sure that the members of the YTCA are trying to protect the Yorkshire Terrier from this happening...

And as far as Mary & Pat not being the only YTCA member to make rules...The YTCA is a democracy and the majority rules...I think the majority has made a huge statement the last time the standard was voted on! All grown up I believe!

So now we know what you are afraid of. The Parti color being prettier and taking over as the yorkshire terrier.
Like I said we dont want to take over the original standard to the yorkshire terrier, we want our own. Yes parti to parti gets parti how does that affect the standard of the blue and gold or tan? Why can there not be a Blue and gold /tan yorkie and a parti color yorkie with different standards. I am sure the show people with the blue and gold/tan would not intermingle with partis.

IF that is all you want then stick to breeding parti to parti and leave the Yorkie out of it!...If the Parti is prettier to you then you dont need the Yorkie!...So why fight for the acceptance of the ytca?

That is the way the YTCA thinks, cripple us with your disqualifications so you can look better

Actually Pat isn't YTCA. But, as far as making the rules...we don't, it's done democratically. We have input once a Committee is formed and preliminaries are determined. It takes a series of steps before the final product is presented to the membership to vote upon.....If it is a nay vote by 2/3 vote....it's back to the drawing board.

Your just what 3, 4, 5 people on here. Your certainly not the majority. One must always remember with AKC money talks. Or has the YTCA forgotten this?
