Question for Biewer/Parti breeder...

Your English is fine Parti's are a yorkshire terrier but it is a major color fault within the yorkie standard. The YTCA is not afraid of the Parti yorkie but in "AKC" shows they can not be shown. I show only AKC so I don't know the other registeries nor care where they are shown as I only show AKC.
The Biewer is trying to establish themselves as a separate breed. I'm not starting anything as someone stated a post or two back. I love all dogs and yes the Parti is a cute and pretty "pet" and makes many people happy
I and many other believe in upholding the Yorkshire Terrier Standard.
I don't want this to start a battle because the OP was wanting a question answered so I think we as adults can keep it civil

I dunno, I was just using the word "they". I dont know anything about the Biewer as I don't have them. I only show and breed Yorkshire Terriers ( standard )

Again the Parti and the Biewer are the same dogs they came from Yorkshire Terriers they are not another breed. Off color does not a breed make. The breed is yorkshire terrier.

Parti is not an unusual color within the yorkie breed. It's a color fault in the YTCA standard and it is a Disqualification in the AKC show ring. I only show AKC so I don't know about the other registeries that allow the Parti's to show. The Biewer I understand is trying to get recognized for AKC but again, I do not know anything about them as I only breed the standard yorkie and uphold what is now in place.

I meant as a too big yorkie or too small yorkie be disqualified, is it same as that? Just genetic throwback?

Biewers originated from the same, German line. They have been bred so that there is specific placement of the colors. Partis have not. According to which Biewer group you ask, they are pure Yorkie, some claim there is something else in the mix too.

The Biewer will never be allowed into AKC as a Biewer because the pedigrees state they are yorkies, they came from two Champion yorkshire Terriers, How you get a separate breed from that is beyond me.

The biewers I have been seeing do not have specific placement of colors , they look just like partis and vice versa.

Size is not a disqualification but the standard says not to exceed 7 pounds. And the Parti is a genetic color fault. It just depends on who you ask and what the other believes as far as parti's and biewers. I personally don't care because I show and breed the standard yorkie and will uphold that standard. I have nothing against the Parti's or Biewers as they are animals and I love all animals and make great loving pets
