He was great, most people thought he was about fifteen. he remind me of cat, slept lots and just wanted cuddles. They got him big litter tray and he didn't go outside. He died in his sleep. They always said if he had something wrong with him they PTS, but he was healthy as ox! It one of those things you have to see to believe.

I agree - you'd have to see to believe even though I've heard of this - never knew anyone who had a pet that long - that just blows my mind he had no health issues - he must have been REALLY healthy with some pretty great genes.

I wonder what the oldest dog on record would be regarding age ?

Butch wasn't in perfect health, he had some arthritis, his senses were quite slow and he needed soft food, but those are all thing I attribute to elderly. Plus he was quite a fatty lol.
