i have never had an issue with it...on either side..buying or selling and apparently alot of other people dont

i know the breeders are here are very careful on what they do and how they do it...but a lot of people just want the dog

they can do it full scale to a T and improving the breed and say their females never fight...(which extremely hard to believe..specially if they have multiple females with heats and pregnancies..i think its bull ) and thats wonderful for them and their program and clients and i mean that ..but i still dont think they are given a thrown and a crown for it ..doesnt mean everyone else that breeds good healthy puppies is dirt and thats what they basically feed everyone on here...

i respect their breeding program but respect should also be both ways...if you treat someone with respect you'll get it back

On that note...I don't think anything else can be said that hasn't been already.
I can understand why this breeder would be upset over some of the comment made questioning the motivations of a breeder who would knowingly place a dog in this environment. And while some of the comments made here may have shed some light on the true motivation$ of $ome people, I don't think it did anything to threaten the transaction these two had worked out.

I wish the best for all the dogs involved and hope we are not reading about even more problems for them in the future, as we have on this and other threads. All anyone can do is offer advice, suggestions and opinions, as they have done and hope people put their personal motivations long enough to consider them.

I have never seen any breeder of any kind give away the puppies they breed except for my pet breeder who gave me a runt Chihuahua or older dogs they no longer breed etc. So it seems to me that all breeders sell their dogs and I don't believe for an instant that even the "Show breeders" don't make money. So if we are going to generalize I would say that all breeders make money from their puppies. If they didn't make money they couldn't continue to do it and spend all the money they do on the dogs.

I continue to come here mainly to find techniques on grooming etc for a Yorkie which is different than the dogs I have owned and cared for for 30 years. There are things I can learn here that will be helpful to me with Bella. I can also share my knowledge with others on this board. Just because I am new to the board doesn't mean I am in dire need of being led by the masters. We all have something to share here and we won't all ever agree on everything.

Just because some people are more vocal or talk louder doesn't make you right. This thread is just beating a dead horse. Just agree to disagree.

yup it happens...even people that have tested have had pups with defects pop up...sure you eliminate that possibility by testing but it still happens and there are so many people out there that have healthy pups..from people that didnt test

mine have always been healthy nothing has ever come back sick and no testing

i dont look down upon someone for not testing..

No, it's not just an opinion. It is what you do when you are breeding correctly. You cover your basis to make sure you are breeding healthy dogs and producing healthy puppies.

Don't understand why you find it difficult to believe that there are breeders that have no problems in their kennels with their females and/or males....I'd really like you to tell the Lorraine Hayes, Dorren Hubbards and Roberta Rothenbach's (rest her soul) they are full of bull to their face.

I don't feel bad. Camden was probably on her way to a rescue group. The breeder ended up turning over some of her dogs to a very reputable rescue group shortly after this. One of which was Camden's Mom. She did this because supposedly she was going to stop breeding and I hope that she has!

My dogs receive the best medical care possible, dogs with defects are not bred. They are spoiled rotten and have everything they could ever want. I have even taken the money I get from my dogs that does not go for their care and medical and used it to rescue yorkies from bad environments and find them better homes. None of this will ever matter to you because I doubt any breeder is a good breeder in your opinion. Then there is the whole betterment of the breed issue. I work very hard to constantly improve the dogs I have and I provide to people. I however breed partis and off color yorkies so that of course makes me a bad breeder in the eyes of show breeders. My females are only bred a few times and then I put them in homes that with people I personally meet and go to before approving.
But again, there is nothing I could say or do to change the minds and opinions of some of the people on here.
