LOL....a female thing? I think not - just search for YT threads on Jeff Dane. If we were discussing the breeder you referred to and I had knowledge or an opinion, I certainly would speak out......this thread is about Glenda and her ethics.

What is it about Glenda that you all seem to have a problem with? So what if she helped out her friend a total of about 4 times. Is that a death sentence? Has she done this recently? I think we have ALL done things in our past that is totally unethical in someones elses eyes. What is unethical to one person may not be to another person. Does that mean that we have to get our names and reputations dragged through the mud forever? And ALL of the facts have not been stated, but yet some of you feel the need to run with it. This issue has been hashed and re-hashed to the point of being redundant. And then compare her to Jeff Dane?? That was just waaaaaaaaay over the top.

Most of us are not your neighbors' so we would not know who your
talking about! If you know he is a byb and his pups live in fifth why
are you not reporting him, may I ask?

I am totally shocked by this, and frankly confused. You seem to think it's perfectly acceptable for a breeder to sell their dogs over the Internet and through such places as puppy find. What is the difference between these places and a pet stores?

If people would quit buying dogs from pet stores, there would be no supply of dogs to pet stores. Stopping demand to halt supply is more effective than vice versa. It is just plain old economic theory. If people had never stopped buying 8 track tapes, RCA would still be making them... (not that dogs are equivalent to 8 track tapes but the analogy is valid).

ExACTLY my point...Do you have FIRST hand knowledge and know this lady personally to be able to nail her to the cross like lots are doing...Is it because she is in the show world and may have some competition for dogs in the ring.Come on , have you bought a dog from her? You need to go on the rescue post and help the rescue groups take care and place these animals that Lots of Breeders send to their deaths because they cant breed anymore or they are too sick from overbreeding. We have lots of GREAT breeders on YT that I have not seen post in the thread...They handle things more professional...Just stating my opinion....Lissette

Lissette, that's Jeff Dane, he's a puppymill for sure and I'm asking how anyone knows this Glenda Beaver isn't? I asked if anyone has ever been to her kennels?

Pet stores, get their puppies from puppymills, that is a known fact. There are plenty of people on puppyfind that are NOT puppymills.

Yes, I do know her and have first hand knowledge....and I'm not nailing her to any cross - by HER actions, she has brought this upon herself.

It has nothing to do with the "show world" and competition - it has to do with ethics.

No, I haven't and wouldn't because I'm aware of her and her ethics.

You don't know me and what I have done in the past couple of years for rescue dogs, helping rescues and supporting them with donations, etc. - but I can assure you I've done much more than many. I have fostered at least 6 dogs within the past 8 months.

We have lots of GREAT breeders on YT that I have not seen post in the thread...They handle things more professional...Just stating my opinion....Lissette

I can't speak for the "Great breeders" on YT that haven't posted on this thread, but do have my suspicions as to why they are not posting, and for some, it's not for the reason you stated.

My question was has anyone ever been to her place? And, as far as prices, and having a lot of breeding dogs, no, she's no better than Jeff Dane. The only thing they do differently, is I don't think he ships dogs to pet stores. Sorry, I just have no use for anyone that loves yorkies and could help a friend ship pups(and them only being 8 weeks), if she had done it one time, yeah, then it was a mistake and could have been forgiven, but, to do it more than once, well, NO, there is NO excuse for that, it's very wrong!

There use to be smaller pet stores, and I believe at one time, these pet stores did buy from local small breeders. As pet stores became national, they also contracted out to larger commercial breeders. I'm not against commercial breeders as long as the kennel conditions are good/great, they are breeding to standard, and they do health screening. I'm against people buying any dog without going to the kennels. I am also against breeders selling a dog without thoroughly investigating buyers.

How do you know which people on puppyfind are not puppy mills? How do you know they are not a brokers for puppy mills? There just seems to be a huge double standard.
