Good point. Whatever price you decide on should include the spay. FYI, show breeders rehome adults for the price of the spay/neuter, updating shots, etc., usually a few hundred dollars. | |

Good luck in placing her with the perfect home. I would recommend having her spayed before placement.

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | I have to agree. Spay her first before she leaves. And tell your husband he is not going to recoup the costs of the litter or the C-section. Tell him you are going to find the best home for her and she will be the delight of someone's life. Good luck. |

| I got Pebbles, at 9 months, as a rehome here in Vegas, she had been spayed about 1 1/2 month before I got her. I know Peb's is a mixed yorkie, but I think the family rehoming her was most interested in her being placed in a loving home. My fee was almost nothing compared to $2,000. Good luck when you are looking to rehome her.

| She is a beautiful girl, But I agree with the others, I dont think your husband is going to recoup the costs of the litter or the C-section. I would also be very picky of who gets her. The longer you hold on to her the harder its going to be to let her go. and harder on her too. I hope you find her the perfect loving forever home. |

| Sorry you are having to give her up. It will be better for both of you to find her a forever home before your skin baby arrives. You could be put in a difficult situation if you wait and may not have time to pick the perfect family for her. I agree to spay her first. It would be terrible if someone tried to breed her with her being so tiny. Maybe you can consider one of the first posts and talk to the family member of the YT'er so she will get a home with some one at home all the time.. Good Luck... |

| I'm sorry you are having to rehome, she is very beautiful and obviously loved but when you take on the huge responsibility of breeding you have to be prepared to take on the huge costs too. Breeding is not a way to make money and often costs more than you get back. $2000 is alot for this girl and she really should be neutered before rehoming. The type of people who might pay this are the type of people who are thinking of how much money they can make by turning her into a puppy making machine and she is way too small for that, they might not want to pay $$$ for a c-section if she needs it and just let her and the puppies die! Please try to explain to hubby that its not her fault that the bills were so high, she did'nt even ask to be born and you both- as the people who brought her into this world have to take on the responsibility of finding her a great new home,(whatever the financial loss) you have had the privilidge of loving her for the past year and surely must have had your moneys worth of love in return! Good luck I really hope she finds a great forever home!!!

| Maybe one of the breeders who gave you this price would like to purchase her. |

| I paid that much for one of my dams and she came from champion lines and is 5lbs and produces beautiful babies. Re-home is much lower and def get that baby spayed if you don't want her bred. She might end up having to get a c-section as well if she is bred (the least that could happen to her) and I'm sure after seeing her mom go through that you wouldn't want that to happen for her.
