I'm sorry you are having to rehome, she is very beautiful and obviously loved but when you take on the huge responsibility of breeding you have to be prepared to take on the huge costs too. Breeding is not a way to make money and often costs more than you get back. $2000 is alot for this girl and she really should be neutered before rehoming. The type of people who might pay this are the type of people who are thinking of how much money they can make by turning her into a puppy making machine and she is way too small for that, they might not want to pay $$$ for a c-section if she needs it and just let her and the puppies die! Please try to explain to hubby that its not her fault that the bills were so high, she did'nt even ask to be born and you both- as the people who brought her into this world have to take on the responsibility of finding her a great new home,(whatever the financial loss) you have had the privilidge of loving her for the past year and surely must have had your moneys worth of love in return! Good luck I really hope she finds a great forever home!!!
