| Unless this is something that happened overnight -- I don't believe this statement is true. There is a Biewer club that is trying to get them registered as a mixed breed dog -- but even if that goes through all the steps, from what I understand, it will still take years to be accepted as an AKC breed. |

| Ok, I just wanted to respond to the so called rare comment. As far as I know there are only 7 golden parti colored AKC dogs. Wouldn't that make them rare? If not, at what point do they cease being rare? 2 dogs 4 dogs 100 dogs? There are Millions of Yorkies and there are even a lot of colored and Parti yorkies. Right now there are 7 Golden Parti's I would say heck yah they are rare. What do they cost? Alot and I paid Alot for them. Breeding them is also a great risk that they might have to have a c-section and might not survive. So yes they cost Alot. I question people who are selling there yorkies for to little. How are you covering Vet and care costs? Maybe these people are not giving their dogs proper vet care. I have spent a great deal of money and time to get the dogs I have. I have researched pedigrees, I have flown to see dogs and talk to breeders. I have also had dogs stolen causing a total loss of my investment and my companions. All this adds up and that is a reason they cost what they do. I expect them to be much cheeper in a few years. There price might even be about the same as a traditional colored yorkie, but for now it is a huge investment to get them and the supply available does not equal the ever increasing demand as people become aware of the beautiful white yorkies. Just wanted to put a note up here too. Daisy was found this morning in one of the parking lots at the airport and she is OK. They are going to go pick her up today and she will go to her new home with my sister next saturday. | |

| I'm pretty sure I read it somewhere, maybe I missunderstood what I was reading. I thought that Biewer's were registerable with the AKC, they are Yorkies after all. Like I said I did read it somewhere during my research on Yorkie's before I got Pippin in April of 2007, so I could very well be wrong.

| No problem, I think they are pretty and I am actually striving to breed my partis to their standard but only time will tell how that works out because as others have stated the Partis have other recessive genes in them that make the spotting patterns less consistent. |

| Well I wish you good luck. I have one Yorkie and I don't think he's breed standard but that's fine with me. He's not really black persay, the darkest spot on him is the tip of his tail. I have read the CKC breed standard because I am Canadian, but he's not registered with a club at all and again that's fine with me.

| Well, I am new to this whole thing. However I can agree with some of the users here. I also take it offensive when someone lays any type of currency next to a pup......I have went to your website.....your pups are rather pricey I might add. I must also say if I wanted to pay that much for a pup I would darn well make sure they are up to "standard" as everyone is saying. I think for me to pay full price on something it should be taken care of! I love my lil lady......I don't know if she is "standard" on everything.....but I am not breeding her either......I just love her as my little girl. I must agree with the others about improving the breed. There is no way in the world I would breed my little lady if she had something that would not improve the breed. I am just not going to take chances with that I am sorry! I know I might sound rude or harsh but as I said if she is not up to standard it doesn't matter she is not in a breeding program she is just my baby and that is all that matters! I hope I made sense .
