She's gotten the last one all clean and I've returned the others to her. They're all snuggling with Mom, a couple are nursing. Looks like she's done. I'll change out her bedding in a few and try to get a couple of pics. The little girl is sooo tiny. |

Congratulations!! I'm so glad all went so well for you. Really looking forward to the pictures. That makes 3 boys and 1 girl..right? Jenn, how is Chloe and the babies doing now? |
4 Attachment(s) Hi there! The whtie patch you talk of, does it look like this? I have attached a pic of my wee man Alfie, born lastweek when he was just born. He has the white patch, it is completely normal and will more than likely dissapear before he is 6 months old. His mum Cleo had it aswell and it was gone for her being 6 months. Good luck on your litter! 1- Alfie just born showing patch 2- A week old 3- Cleo (mother) at 8 weeks 4- Cleo 8 weeks, 12weeks, and 16 weeks In the progression pic you can see the white getting less noticeable, on her first cut it was gone! |
Wow Congratulations to both of you! |

Oh, it does look like that! She looks like she is getting better. I think Chloe just rid herself of the afterbirth............ |
How exciting....2 liters back to back. I want to see pictures when all calms down. :bigbdaypa |

Chloe licks them so much that its hard to tell. For awhile, Chloe was running around. I put her and the pups in a different room so that they could all rest, which them seem to be doing now. The little one seems OK, still hard to tell. She is very territorial * wont let anyone but me even near them |

Thanks to all for being here. Except for the first baby, this was a trouble-free whelp. Seems like it's always the first one to have delivery problems, if any. The babies are all doing fine, Pearl's resting and they're nursing. Maybe I can get some breakfast now. :aimeeyork :aimeeyork :aimeeyork :aimeeyork |
I had to go for a while and couldn't wait to get back to read the outcome of this thread...so much excitement in only a few minutes!!.Congratulations to both of you for a great job, and to the new moms as well. |
And to all of you that helped:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: |
Congrats...this has been exciting to follow. Hope all moms and babies are doing well. Can't wait for more pics!!!! |
Jenn, is the last one still doing okay? It has been very exciting. Yougetthesmiles (Missy) her Baby has had two (girl and boy) so far this morning too. What a morning for babies!! |
Umm, its okay. I tried to take the bed away that she whelped in (its disgusting). I put it outside her room and she came running with the runt in her mouth. I put them both back in the whelping bed and she seemed better. I put them all back in there.........not sure what to do now...... |
Just leave her in her whelping bed, for now. In nature they don't get fresh bedding after a whelp, so she is going with instinct. She will be fine, just let her do it her way for at least today. |
THANK YOU, too, to everyone who helped. I dont think I wouldve made it through halfway sane without everyone's help. Thank you! |
