She had the one puppy naturally. The vet came out just as we were about to leave. I actually have to call soon to get an update. I will let you know once I speak to them.

My vet even let me come back and watch a C section. That was really interesting.

Yeah a part of me wanted to stay but I can be a nervous wreck sometimes and I think I would have been more of a hindrance than a help. The vet called me at about 2, 3 and she had all 3 puppies! I have pictures which I will put up in a few days, we were able to come in and see her real quick. We only stay for a few because as soon as she heard my sister's voice she got frantic and wanted to get out of the cage. Two of them were black and one was brown. Girl came first then the brown one and then the other black one. The doctor didn't tell me girl or boy. They are going to keep her overnight to observe her and make sure everything has passed. I should be able to pick her up tomorrow or at the latest Monday. Thanks again for all of you who posted in my moment of need. Believe it or not, you were able to keep me a little calm.

Hi again, more help needed. Its 11am, the next day, 24 hours she has been in their care. Since yesterday they have been telling me she is doing fine, they're feeding and everything is going well. Initially someone said they would keep her 24 hours but now they're saying tomorrow! It just seems weird to me that all of a sudden they need to stay. I could understand if there were some kind of complications but there weren't. If they are all doing well, why can't they come home? Do you think they're trying to charge me for another night?

I asked them and they said I did the right thing. What I saw coming out was a sack, not a puppy so it was a good thing I took her in. My mom spoke to them again and it was more precautionary. So we brought her home and everything seems to be ok. Is it normal for her to pant a lot though? We're in the midst of a heatwave so it is quick warm. I had them in the living room with the AC in the room filtering in but the mom seemed to be way too warm. I just moved them into the AC and set it to 72 LOW.

Yeah but its like 98 degrees, the vet said 75 would be ok so the AC is now set to 74. Luna is panting, I dont want her to overheat considering she drank a bowl of water since she has been in here and that is all. Is that wrong? How do I get her to drink more water?
