probably because no one is there over the weekend. What your dog was doing from what you described was a perfectly normal thing. I don't see why he even kept her last night if all was well and she had them normally. i'm sorry but I have to ask this. Are you prepared to take care of these babies and mama once you get them home? I am a little worried since you didn't know what to expect or how to birth the babies. it is a hard thing to raise a litter of puppies. We will try to help you all we can but I just had to ask. Did you take her to the vet because you were nervous or was she really in trouble. As i said yesterday that is the best wghen in doubt but it makes no sense for them to keep her all this time.
