my boyfriend found this website and wanted to purchase a pup from there. I am not too sure as i really want a reputable breeder whom i can trust. Does anyone have any expirience with them or hear stories of them?

Never heard of them. I suggest you check around on some of the breeders on here. Too many mills and crappy breeders out there.

he is trying to rush getting a puppy to get it before xmas. i can wait i rather have a dog in march and know its great quality and had an outstanding rasing than blind sided, but he just wont listen so i want to show him proof.

Personally, I would be suspicious of anyone who advertises "teacup" yorkies for sale.

I'd run from this breeder

Advertising teacups & miniature yorkies is a big no no and a major red flag. Reputable breeders do not purposely breed for tinies...they may get one occasionally but never do it on purpose. There is no such thing as a "teacup" or "miniature" yorkie. A Yorkie is a Yorkie - they are a toy breed - the standard says up to 7lbs (although they can get larger than that). There is no Teacup Yorkshire Terrier (or teacup of ANY breed).

Some of those prices are a little rediculous to me as well considering these dogs being bred are not show quality...puppies should not cost considerably more just because they are born tiny.

Also, a breeder can GUESS & make an educated estimate of a yorkie puppy's adult size, but all reputable breeder know that you can never know for sure. So any breeder that tells you a puppy will definitely be a certain weight full grown is lying to you.

Please take you time and search out a reputable breeder. Don't rush just to get one within the next week. You'll most likely be much happier in the long run if you wait for the right breeder and the right puppy.

I'd second that -- a breeder who advertises "teacups" demonstrates a lack of understanding of (and/or concern for) the breed.

Yep lots of red flags. Listen don't rush to get a dog. It's a very bad thing to do and you might end up regretting it. While yorkies are great dogs and you can run into several bad health issues that can cause you big money. Bad breeding out there can make you end up with a very sick dog.

We have a for sale section here and there is also a breeders review section. Take your time and look through and call a few of them and see how things go.

A puppy is a big investment both time and money wise. The last thing you need is a sick dog.

Tell your honey the yorkie is a diamond and the same care you put into selecting that forever diamond you need to do the same with your yorkie purchase. He can always put the money in an envelope and give that to you and you can take your time searching. The money will be there.

I too would be very cautious with this "breeder". "Teacup" yorkies is a big red flag. And reading his arguments on the page about "teacups" is totally off the wall and worded to make it seem okay. But most of all I noticed that his dams are TINY.. 4 lbs is way to small to be used for breeding. I would RUN!

I noticed that OP in that thread (that says Elvis sells her pups sometimes) uses 2 and 3lb females to breed

I've seen this site before. It infuriates me. WTH do they have a shopping cart??? Amongst the other numerous things they are doing that's bad.

Please don't buy from them.

And I would also encourage you to not get a puppy at Christmas.

Also, I don't think this is a broker. I do know however, that this person is friend's with another well known breeder and they sell puppies for her as well. She is well known for breeding dogs that are entirely too small to be breeding.
