Yeah, there was a link to her site in that other thread. she breeds some females that are only 2lbs and 3lbs

How the hell in good conscience can she breed such small females. Lulu is 3 1/4 lbs and I know there is no way in hell I would breed her.

Im on the west coast, I look at the paper every day, and the elvis yorkies has an ad all the time, so if they are not brokers, they are slammin the puppies out. The other one, Natalies, I got my Dakota there 3 years ago, she shipped him and he ended up bigger than promised. Be careful. L

why do their prices flip flop? and I thought that there was no thing as the teacup. I was told that they were dwarfs.

I would check around if I were you. It would be nice to have a puppy for christmas but, I wouldn't buy from this breeder. A BIG RED FLAG would be the words teacup and miniature...Although there are some breeds that have teacups, yorkies is not one of them.

Actually, I believe Elvis is a group of three different breeders. Ju-Lyn's yorkies, Natalies, his own and sometimes they will advertise if someone has used their stud, etc. They purchase from each other(Ju-Lyn's are more regular size, Natalie specializes in the tinier ones, etc.). Lots of champions in some of the puppies.

Natalie stresses that her small dogs come from long lines of small dogs. They do not have c-sections because the puppies are small since the lineage is small. I know one of the members on YT has purchased three dogs from her and been very happy.

That's why I always tell people, you really have to know what you're doing to breed dogs,especially smaller ones. It's not as easy as it looks. I've spoken with Natalie and she has told me alot about her dogs. She has waited three years to breed a female until she felt comfortable doing it and having the right stud.

Oh, I just wanted to add, that I would never talk someone into buying from a breeder they didn't feel comfortable purchasing from. You have gut insticts for a reason. But I strongly suggest most people don't just bash sites from seeing words or pictures, to actually call them or e-mail them before making judgments, or better yet, contact someone who has dealt with them if they can.

I would stay away from that breeder. There are too many red flags, and why does he want to advertise other peoples yorkies?

I would never buy puppy unless I could meet the breeder, the puppies and the parents.

Yes, there are some good lines in those dogs. However, they aren't the ones that did that work. They sure like to advertise about it though. Regardless of who it is, I can not and will not condone anyone that is breeding dogs that are that small.

Why buy from somebody that isn't trying to improve the breed? Especially when there are so many loving and caring breeders that are doing just that. It's not an improvement to see just how small we can get them.

I agree, lots of red flags. Personally, I couldn't imagine purchasing a yorkie from any website like that...just seems so impersonal and risky

He is a breeder but also aa broker. I know someonee that is a breeder and member on here that lists her puppies thru him. I asked about it and she said he is a friend but It is clear he is brokering puppies. He does have pretty pups and very expensive.

She is a member and featured breeder here but isn't active anymore due to being run off by a bunch of rude people some time back.
