Weather cancelled flight

Well, heckfire. Continental has cancelled his flight so I won't get him until Tuesday, for heaven's sakes. Am extremely bummed out.

Due to inclement weather in NEPA, I thought I would not get my puppy until next week. Breeder called today and he arrives via Continental tomorrow (Fri) at 6:19 eastern. Don't tell hubby but I have already purchased around $400 in "supplies," excluding food, for heaven's sakes. Again, when, and more importantly, HOW, did this happen to me?

My first dog

I just purchased an 11-week parti-colored Yorkie puppy. This is my first dog as I have spent the past eighteen years raising Persian cats, the last of which who was fourteen had to be euthanized. I had been reasearching dog breeds for years and finally decided to take the plunge and purchase this Yorkie. My husband says it's empty nest syndrome. I think it's merely that he has finally driven me so crazy that I have gone over the edge.

I don't get Lord Byron until perhaps next week,...

Case of the "dognapped" Yorkie

Now, I can laugh. Eddie is safe, and the only harm is to my pride.

But for 2 1/2 hours this afternoon, my wife and I and 100 or so of friends on Facebook and more here on YT without my knowledge -- not to mention the Anchorage Police and animal control -- were on red alert for the case of the stolen Alaska Yorkie.
