Who had a clue that while mommie was searching for a furbaby to love you were being brought into this world and me not even knowing my future furbaby was right in my face. Who would have known that me joining Yorkie Talk to learn more about Yorkies would result in me finding you. Many days I cried because I wanted a a pet to grow old with,someone to actually listen to my feelings and ramblings and just could not find the right baby. Eddie may be in a local commercial

Alaska's first dog boutique, Paw Prince, is taping a commercial this weekend and invited everyone with a dog to drop by and see if they were talented enough to be in the commercial.

I took that as a challenge. I got off work last night at 1 a.m., came home and dropped them both into the tub for a shampoo and conditioning. By the time drying, blow drying and brushing was done, I didn't get to bed until 4.

The turnout at the shop was pretty good. There was a line halfway...

So in addition to sit, & give kisses Lyric knows how to crawl and give paw. He learned crawl and give paw yesterday (4-26-08) after going over it about five times. So how did I teach him? He was playing and started to crawl so i just started saying lyric crawl and he would, I pretty much did the same thing with give paw.

(giving praise each time he crawled/gave paw)

Crawl is his favorite though, when he knows we are going to do his tricks he will sit (i always do...

I have had yorkies for the last 20 years. There is just no other dogs as far as I'm concerned. I do have a question. I have a little male that has separation anxiety, and if myself or my husband gets out of his sight he starts howling. He started this after I got very sick and was not at home for about 3 wks. What can I do for him. He sounds so lonesome and sad, I feel so bad for him.

neutering

I am having my Yorkie (Topaz) neutered this week. Do I have anything to be concerned about? Will he have any after effects and how long until he is back to normal? Any info will be welcome.
