My dog has been limping

The other day, my two yorkies were play fighting. Then, my bigger one hurts my smaller one's back leg. (Yea ... my bigger one likes to attack the smaller one's back leg a lot.) My smaller one has been limping since last thursday. She has been trying not to use her back right leg. She doesn't look like she is in pain, or having any bone fractures. However, she hasn't been using that leg. She doesn't feel the pain if I touch the leg. She can even run for treats, but most of the time she avoids...

New Puppy with ticks :(

Hello,

I just brought my yorkie home on friday. She's 6 1/2 weeks old. She's adorable, but come to find out, she's got ticks and fleas; absolutley covered! It's sad. My husband and I have been picking them off with tweezers. She's only had her 1st shot, and the people we bought her from told us that we couldnt put a flea and tick collar on her because it counteracts with the shot. They told us we had to wait until she's had all 3 shots until we could put one on. I'm not sure exactly

New bad-behavior

Hi everyone.

This is my first blog and I am in desperate need for advice.

My 7 and a half month old boy, Cuba has started to act very badly.

He has become very possessive of all his toys, especially his treats and chew toys. Though most of the time i don't mind this, he is now attacking - well trying to attack/bite - anyone else who comes near him.
This really "hit-home" when my 3 year old nephew came over today and Cuba was so angry,...

Yorkie-bichon pup with Parvo

We purchased a nine-week old yorkie-bichon pup and 2 days after getting him home he got sick and diagnosed with Parvo...after agonizing and bringing him for an overnite stay at the hospital, we returned him to the woman we purchased him from.. She says he is doing better now with Vet treatment...We got very attached in just a few days...should we take this pup back? Anyone have experience with this and what the lifelong implications might be for his health? We are first time dg owners and this...
