| 10mo male/free Help needed ASAP. Beautiful, however, not nutered and having other dogs and cats this little one will not stop peeing and marking. Can't keep. Original owners do not want him back. If interested please PM me ASAP. Puppy is in Putnam County NY. He is 5.5 lbs, ears are up and has long black coat. He really is beautiful. My friend tried but she now realizes she should have not gotten a puppy. Thanks, Carol |

| AWWWWWWWW poor little baby. I sure do hope he finds the perfect forever home soon. I for one just want to put something out there....I quite frankly and getting so tired of people not keeping their dogs for reasons that are fixable and/or preventable! It just breaks my heart into pieces for these little ones. Potty training can be difficult, but it is by NO means IMPOSSIBLE. I wish people would do some research and consider the potty training issue BEFORE they purchase a yorkie! Geez! Archie, this is in no way directed towards you, or anybody for that matter...You have such a kind soul for trying to find this little one a forever home. Sorry I had to vent.............. |

| Maybe if the little guy was neutered, he would stop marking/peeing. I hope he finds a great FOREVER home soon.

up last Sat from his original owners who no longer wanted him because they are now pregnant with a skinbaby! I know, this happens often. Well anyhow, my girlfriend has been rescueing cats and dogs for years and thought she could help this little one. It is just not working out. He will not stop peeing! He has peeed on the cats, dogs and everything else in the house. They said he was pad trained, which we believe he is but with all the other animals in the house I guess this is what is making him do this. She can't keep up. She has a good heart for sure but she now knows she should have not gotten a puppy. I thought I could help her by posting this here.

Original owners said they are going to take him back. I am sorry to get anyone's hopes up but they took their time in getting back to my girlfriend. At first they said no but had a change of heart. Thank heavens, Carol I knew I could help her here for sure but would have never posted if I thought they would change their minds. Glad to know they have a heart afterall.

they just made a fast decision on giving up their pet. They had a lovely house and she cried when we took him so I hope they missed him enough to be happy to have this beautiful boy back.

| P.S. -- Maybe you could strongly recommend to them that he be neutered. I would hate for them to keep him for awhile and get frustrated with the potty training issue and have to give him up again. Just a thought....... |

| I agree with Rebecca. He should be neutered. I was given my first yorkie when he was 3 years old. The owners said he kept running away, getting out of their fence, etc. THE DOG WAS NOT NEUTERED!! I was so frustrated that people do not educate themselves on the pro's and con's of spay/neuter. I brought Shorty home and had him neutered. I never had another problem with him. He was 3.5 pounds and the best dog ever. He died at age 8 from a tumor on his optical nerve. I was blessed to have him for 5 years. Didn't mean to ramble into all that.. sorry. I strongly feel that neutering this boy will help.

| I wasn't going to post on this anymore but saw someone started it up again. Please understand my girlfriend is a rescuer herself and wanted to help this beautiful boy with a new home. Long story made short, he peed, peed and peed again. We thought it was from the other dog/cats in the house but soon realized it was not. Owner was not quite honest with us. He has kidney problems! I won't say what the owner said he would do after taking the dog back, which he will never see again, I can tell you that. She took him to her vet for blood work and all levels are way up. He is acting normal but there is something terribly wrong with his kidneys. I am waiting as I type this for her to call me. The owner knew about this and lied to us! We are doing our best to make sure he gets the help and forever home he so deserves. Some people are just plain rotten! My vet's assistant has a person who said she will take him and get him the treatment he needs. We pray she comes through. She also works for a vet. Not knowing at this time what exactly is wrong with the kidneys don't know what the treatment will involve just hope he can be saved. Please say a prayer for this little innocent pup. Her vet said a biopsy is needed to determine the cause for excessive drinking and peeing! |
