Totally agree with that. I had them on my list of vendors when I do research for dog items so that they might be recommended. They are now being removed from that list!!! Thanks for the heads-up! I refuse to give anyone a plug when they're so abusive of their clientele.

Call your credit card company and initiate a chargeback. That's exactly what I'd do.

If you have the time, there is also an area on there called "in the news" where they have been featured on the show The view. The link they have there doesn't work so I don't know if its true. However, if it is and being the way Barbara Walters is... i'm certain she would like to hear about that type of customer service. Wouldn't it be interesting if they did a little bit of an undercover operation and got the same response from them in email inquires... hmmmmmm that sounds like a plan. Now, I almost wish I had dealt with them.. I would take it there.. oh yea I would do anything to get that type of treatment in the public's eye.

I noticed that about The View link too, and had the same thought!

That is downright disgusting company behavior... If I had ordered from those toads and gotten that kind of response, this is what I would do... (time consuming, but may be worth your time)

1. Contact EVERY company they offer products from and send them your email correspondense along with every internet posting you can dig out of the deep. (here is the URL to one of the companies they sell their producst Sherpa's Pet Trading Company - The Original Soft Side Pet Carrier)

2. I would contact the BBB in their city, state and if there is a federal one, that one also.

3. Turn them into the IRS for possible fraud. (If they are that willing to be so infantile, chances are they have no problem NOT refunding money and saying they did)

4. Report them in writing and via email to the State Attorney General in their state and the state you live in. Make sure it is a registered letter.

5. Send the Senetor in their state a letter and email requesting they be investigated.

6. Send a letter and email to every TV station in their city asking their "watch dog" reporter to look into it and report on their gross and abusive behavior.

7. Get on EVERY pet forum board you can find and post, post, post!!

This would be for starters :-)

Wow, that's HORRIBLE! No company should ever talk to a customer like that! I've heard of other members having similar problems with this company as well.

You could try emailing The Consumerist and telling them about your experience:

They could take your story and make that company look like an absolute fool (which of course they deserve)!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

I order over $60 worth of items from this site in March......their site clearly states that your "order status" will change within a week from your order...and if not, to email their customer service. So, when mine didn't change, I sent an email....not response, sent another, no response.....it was now the middle of April and I still hadn't heard from them, my order status was never changed and I read a lot of BAD reviews on them, so I got worried.

I had filed w/ PayPal before I got the email back from them, because, of course, it took them awhile to respond. But once I got this email, I forwarded it to PayPal, my dispute was moved to a claim (within a few days of my filing my dispute) and I got my money refunded (THANK GOODNESS)!!!

And the sad thing is...I was never rude or impatient......! Oh well, lesson learned!

BUYER BEWARE! NEVER USE THIS SITE!
And if they have sites under other names, check for those and stay away!!!!

I think there are other "review" sites too that you can leave a bad review for them!

When I heard about this company from Jenn, I nearly blew my top off. THEN I saw they're RIGHT here in Arizona - and I actually wonder if they have a store here, under some other name - because I SURE would like to pay a visit!!!!!!!
