| VPI Pet Insurace Okay, so I got this VPI pet insurance flyer from my vet and I was wondering if it's worth getting for my dog. And how does it work? Do I pay for the Vet bills first then the pet insurance will pay me back? Is VPI a good insurance company for my Dunks? Please advice. ANd which one should I get? The Superior Plan or the Standard plan? Im so confused! Help! |

| Do they have a website or just flyers at the vet? Also, are they expensive and do they have a plan for multiple dogs? |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | They have a website that's how I signed mine up. I just signed Pixie up last week and I got her policy in the mail. I pay 21.00 per month per dog. http://www.petinsurance.com

I have the premium plan so it covers vaccinations and dental care. I pay $24.00 for Jolie & Jen, Jazzie is up to $38 but it's because she is 9-years old. They do provide multiple policy discounts. The reps there are great to talk to and WILL return your calls. If you can't tell... I say...

| Thanks for the info on VPI Pet Insurance. I just signed Kobe up for it after reading the posts!! My first dog, Barry (beagle), passed away from cancer last year and we neglected to get him pet insurance. I think that the insurance is worth the money for the peace of mind alone!! -lsf |

| Bailey has it and is on the Superior plan which was better because it took care of routine vaccinations.........I just send it 2 claims the first one was for Bailey's last set of shots and I got an email that they recieved it and the second claim was for a poop sample because I thought Bailey poop was kinda harder than usually and I found a spec of blood in it but everything was fine though........I just sent in the claim for that one so I don't know if they will give me anything for that, but I know they will give me something for the 3rd set of shots! I pay around 25.00 for the plan a month!

| I Just Got Ours! Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences with VPI! I've also been curious about the plan in the past and reading your comments helped me feel comfortable enough with making the decision to get it for my baby. I just signed up!!! Thanks!

| I have it, plus I have the cancer rider. I only pay like $7 per paycheck, so $14 per month - but I get a discount because I work for a health insurance company. I haven't had to use it yet, because I also have a puppy plan through my vet which covers all visits 100% including neuter. So after he's 1 year old I'll use the VPI for his checkups.

| You got a great deal! I'm going to pay $ 23.59 a month. I wish I would have gotten it sooner... in the past year.... i took my girlie to the vet about 8 -10 times! She has allergies.

| That's wierd! Could it be the age of your babe... or maybe the state you live in? I don't get it? Maybe you should try calling them!

I got the samething as you did. In my case I seleceted the other 2 options, vaccinations care and the cancer option and it came to be $29.83 including the $2 monthly processing fee. But if I exclude those 2 options the cost is $19.83 which is not bad. I will sign up mine though but I will do it yearly. | |
