| Hi There! My friend got her yorkie there several years ago. She wasn't AKC registered, some other kind which i've heard can be shady and she said now that she looks back, that seemed wierd. Her dog is adorable, prettty solid and very sweet. Funny thing is, her dog doesnt know how to bark and her tongue hangs out b/c its so long, but i think she is just as cute as can be! I have looked all over this area and i had to go elsewhere to find a place i was comfortable with. She said the placed seemed fine, but when i asked if she would go back, she said she wasnt sure. Hope that helps a bit!! |

| Hi I am not sure were they get their puppies from. I agree way too many breeds. If you can't see the parents on the premises I would run the other way. I live on Long Island. I show my yorkies and sometimes breed. I don't know what your looking for BOY OR GIRL. I will be expecting a litter in July. My yorkies are all spoiled rotten like they should be. I also have one that is 1 year old & too small to show, she's a sweetie. She plays high 5 with her paw, which is soooo cute. |

| PLEASE do not buy from this place. They are either a puppymill or a broker who gets their dogs from mills. Whenever you see so many breeds this is a sure red flag that it isn't good. Check out rescue Petfinder.com: Adopt a pet and help an animal shelter rescue a puppy or kitten. or if you want a puppy go to the for sale forum and investigate some of the better YT breeders. We have quite a few that are good and will be able to help you out. Elaine |

| I purchased my first pug from there! (I obviously did not know any better) my second pug was a gift/surprise and he too came from there. My hubby's partner got his Schnauzer from there as well. All three have died from cancer! Had I known then what I know now of course I never would of bought from them!

This is heart breaking. I 100% believe she DOES have a shunt. Liver shunt doesn't mean a death sentence. Liver shunt surgery is very successful. It sounds like you have done a lot of research already which is really good. If she will refund you the money, I would take it. Use it for the surgery. Have you looked into Cornell University Vet School or University of Tenn ??? Both are leaders in Liver Shunt surgery and research and offer VERY reasonable Liver Shunt surgeries. Someone not too long ago said they had LS surgery done at U of Tenn (spay, and ALL tests necessary, and the LS surgery and hospital stay) for approx. $1300 Since Cornell is in NYS, you should check them out as well. This is NOT an infection. And this place is a Puppymill. Who is "their" Vet anyway? I live out east and I would LOVE to know which Vet is supporting this horrid place. I know alot about LS and MVD, so please let me know what else I can help you with???? | |

| You can also have your Vet run a Protein C test. This will also give more confirmation that there is indeed a Liver Shunt. The Protein C test is a blood draw that MUST be overnighted to Cornell University. The results are done at Cornell and usually take a few days. Results come back in a % 80% and above are either normal liver or MVD (sorry, but it really can not be accurate for normal or MVD - just a guildline). However.... Below 80% is pretty accurate for Liver Shunt |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Makes me think puppy mill... #1 Red flag: when a breeder has more than one breed. #2 Red flag: KENNEL-can't stand the word...wouldn't want to be associated with it...

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I agree with you on #1, but I don't see anything wrong with the word "kennel." Respectable breeders including YTCA members often have a "kennel" name. It's listed with the American Kennel Club registry. It doesn't mean the dogs live outside.
