| My yorkie has a small bump on his back :( My yorkie is now 10 weeks old and out of the blue....i find a little bump, the size of a mini grape on the back of his bottom neck. It is soft, kind of moves around if i push it with my finger, doesn't seem to hurt him because i pressed it a couple times and he doesn't react at all. Please, any advice would be helpful We will go to the vet to go check it out very soon, but wanted to see if I could get some help here also. Thanks alot!!! |

| Has he had a shot at the vets recently? A few days after one of ZoE's shots, I felt a dime size lump under her skin, then it grew to nickel size. I called the vet and he had me bring her in to look at it. Said it was a reaction to the shot she had, (thankfully, that & a lil lethargy were the only reactions...). He gave her some meds & had me monitor it. He said that it should begin to get smaller & smaller until it went away. A few weeks later it wasn't there at all. Either way, I'd call the vet.

| Yes!! well, he got it on July 10th, a week and a half ago...he got his second shot at the vet. I was planning on going in on the 30th because that is when he is supposed to get his 3rd shot. Maybe i should go in a lil earlier to check it out asap. Thank you so much for the reply, hopefully its nothing serious. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Sounds like it could be from the recent shot. Pixie had that once and I called my vet and she said that was where the shot was given but for peace of mind I could bring her in to have it checked out. So I did. It was from the shot and went away after a few weeks. They didn't charge for the visit. Hopefully that is all it is.

| Callie had a bump like that around her shoulders and the vet checked it out for me and called it something (sorry can't remember what) but was going to aspirate it and check it to ease my mind but it moved to to much and she could not get it. Then she had a harder bump on her neck that has been aspirated and every thing and is just a bump. I would still have your vet look at it but I bet its nothing.

| The bump you described freaked me out too when I found it on Max. However it was about a week after he go shots. It is very common after getting vaccines and will more than likely just go away on its own.

| Layla something like this on her lower back- I can't remember what the vet called it but she needed it removed beacuse it was getting bigger. Wasn't a big deal- she came home the same day and it has never come back. But I would still get it checked out. |
