| Does Your Yorkie bark (too much)? When you talk to people about owning a Yorkie, most people presume them to be very noisey (ie barking, yappy) but I have found with my Rocky that he isn't - he has barked about 3 times now (he's almost 8 months old)? Does your Yorkie bark too much? Just interested to see if the reputation Yorkies have is true! |

| Zack barks when I/we come home then he quiets down. Zeke tends to be skittish and will bark more than "appropriate". Guess between the two of them it balances out to appropriate.

| Johnny barks wildly at birds, squirrels, rabbits, and cats that he sees from his look-out. He doesn't bark to greet us when we get home. One really good bark he has started is barking to come back inside. Now to get him to bark to go outside!

| Paranoid Yorkies It's amazing to me that my smallest one, Pom Pom (5 lbs.) is the most paranoid Yorkie out of the 3 of them. A small bark from her and it makes the other 2 go crazy, I allow them to bark when it's appropriate depending on the situation and the circumstances. Most of the time they are pretty quiet. All 3 are very good "Guard/Watch Dogs" all the time.

| She barks at other dogs half the time now, and skateboarders most of the time (going to work on that by buying a skateboard to roll around... but keep forgetting). On occassion, she'd bark at screeching kids she can't see. The loud ones who visit, she just avoids until they quiet down. She's otherwise really good 'else we wouldn't have been able to take her everywhere with us. |

| Chloe usually only barks a little . When Sydney goes out to potty Chloe waits at the window till she can see her going up the side hill and barks at her She also barks when dh comes home , just a couple barks to greet him , shes quiet most other times. Now Sydney (our mix) all she likes to do is bark.... at animals...passing people ....her shadow ...you name it she barks at it. I was afraid Chloe would pick up her bad habit , but so far she hasn't. ( Thank Goodness !) Syd is getting better because we bought a bark collar and all she has to do is see me reach for it and she shuts up.

| Piper and my poodle usually only bark when someone comes to the door, or they see a dog walk by through the window. The only problem is once I open the door they run out, and lick the person to death. Great watch dogs.

| Zoeybear is the barker in our house. Chloe and Callie almost never bark. Only when Zoeybear gets them worked up.

| Mika is pretty quiet, she only really barks when she is super excited (usually when she thinks she is going for a walk) or when she hears me coming in the back gate!!! Even then she does'nt keep barking and stops when told too!

| Bark Alert! Rocco is on 'Bark Alert' from 1-3pm...that is when my mailman comes, the kids get home from school and my hubby...aka Daddy comes home. So Rocco is running on adrenyline during that time and barks at a squeek in the floor. He drives me nuts sometimes! The rest of the time he only barks when someone is at the door.

| At least your visitors get licked, if Rocco escapes and doesnt know them he tries to bite, his saving grace is he is old and is missing most of his teeth (he is adopted and came that way).

| My furbaby barks at the most random things. I'm really trying to control it though. She'll look out our doorwall and there could be kids playing in the court 2 streets over that she can see and she'll bark at them even though they absolutely can't hear her. |
