The only way when my Alfie goes into a frenzy and foaming at the mouth to shut him up and stop him is throw a bit of water over him
Vet recommended that and it works

What do you mean "they know better"??? Lily is so stubborn that nothing scares her or stops her from barking or running from me or anything she wants to do!!! I can squirt her w/water bottle, shake a can of coins, yell, ignore her, smack a newspaper on something to try to scare her, you name it I think I've tried it!!! She doesn't listen unless "SHE WANTS TO"???? The barking has got worse and she even jumps out of bed in the middle of the night and barks like crazy if she hears something or sees something on TV she will come out of a sound sleep and go crazy barking at a dog etc on TV!!! She was a year old March 12th. I feel so stupid saying that "I can't do anything with her to make her mind me" but "I CAN'T"!! I have NEVER had this problem with KIDS let alone a DOG in my life!!lol She is potty trained to the pee pads I will say that much for her!! She is a smart little girl but she has a mind of her own and I can't change it!! If any of you can tell me ANYTHING to do or not to do I will try it!!!
