Sorry. I was just out cleaning up the sticks in my yard, picking up dog poop, doing a little weeding of the flower beds. My yard is no longer fenced because we had a wood fence and noticed that termites were getting at it. I always go outside with the dogs no matter what time day or nite it is because we have alot of stray dogs in this area and I dont want anything to happen. Well anyway, here I am, weeding the flowerbed while Recon digs up my flowers in his worst attempt to help me yet, my butt is up in the air since i am bent over weeding and what do I feel on my butt cheek?? But a cold nose. Then I hear growling and before I can turn around there is this big doberman on my Recon!!!!!!! Now Recon is not a small dog by no means. Well out runs my neighbor Dave and his son Davey, pull the doberman off Recon and Davey right away helps me check Recon out since there is blood eveywhere. Recon is fine. The doberman runs off to its home which is directly behind where I live.

A few minutes later the neighbor (dobes owner) comes outside and says to Dave that she wants to know what happened to her dog and Dave tells her. SHe then proceeds to walk through my flowers to come talk to me. And as she is walking toward me I notice that she has that 10Ft tall and bullet proof walk to her. Right away she starts runnin her mouth and pointing in my face that I am going to pay for her vet bills for her dog and this that and the other. I laughed in her face and told her to kiss my a** that her dog was in my yard and attacked my dog. She then starts pushing me and pointin her finger in my chest. Not smart. But keeping my cool, I flip open my cell phone and call the cops.

The cops show up and ask what happened and she right away says that i sicked my dog on hers. Dave and Davey told the cops what happened also. Then they asked me and I told them my side.

The cops told her to go get her dogs shot records, asked me the same thing. I did, they looked them over and asked if Recon was alright. Then she comes back with this piece of paper, the cop looks at it, shakes his head, then tells her that she has been warned about her dog running free. and that she was told 2 YEARS AGO to update his shots! You have got to be SH**ING me. This dog is that far behind on shots????????????

SO, the cop writes her a ticket. Big one too $ 785. Tells her to keep her dog in her own yard and outta everyone elses. SO then she gets all ticked off and starts trying to fight with me in front of the cops. So to make long story short, she went to jail.

God Neighbors suck. Recon is fine. Not a scratch on him. He was just protectin his momma. What a good boy.

oh my god! what a bi*tch!!!i think i would of went to jail seeing as i would have had to sock her atleast once! people like that need to know they can get their butts kicked

OH MY GOD! and I thought I had bad neighbors...
You sure have a lot cooler head than I do because
if she had shoved me she would still be looking for
her teeth. Her dog is running loose, not up to date
on it's shots and she thought you owed her something?
What a piece of artwork! I am glad that Recon is
alright...

Oh my goodness, where was Preslee during all of this? Thank god the dob only went for your Recon (only because he can defend himself) and didn't try to hurt you or Preslee. Good job on keeping your cool, I know how hard that must have been!

Oh I sooooooo wanted to hit her. And if it were any other situation I would have. I will be honest. I am a brawler. I back down from nothing and no one. But I was not going to knock my neighbor out then have to worry about things happening to my house and my dogs. I just got off the phone with Sears. I scheduled them to come fence my backyard with chainlink fencing. Im going with 6 foot high fencing to keep everything out. The also offer to dig a small trench around the perimeter and bury about 2 foot of the fence so that the little dogs cant squeeze under. Fencing the yard will also help to increase the value of this house too so I guess I cant complain about spending the moeny too much.

I included pix of my back yard. That B**** lives directly behind me. Dont mind the half mowed back yard. I ran outta gas in the mower and was too lazy to go get more so I will finish it tomorrow. LOL

Hooorayy for you calling the police and them citing her and taking her to jail! Finally, someone gets what they have coming to them!

Keep an eye on your baby in case she tries to retaliate.....

Preslee and Memphis were inside lounging on the couch in front of the TV. I like having Recon out with me when I do yard work cause he allerts me if anyone stops over or anything like that and he doesn't leave his yard. He knows better. Memphis and Preslee are too hard to keep an eye on while I am out working in the yard so they stay inside.

What a trashy B****!!!!!! Girl, if I'd been there, I'd had your back!!! She got what she deserved!!!!!! Just watch out for when she gets out. If she tries anything, it's RETALIATION which means big trouble for her! Good Recon! Give him a nice juicy steak for supper tonight!

Neighbors DO suck - but I'm so GLAD Recon is ok - Was he hurt at all or did her dog get hurt ? When you said blood - my heart stopped - I can't believe she would stomp thru YOUR yard and get hissy about anything - You were minding your own business AND her dog was loose ?

She's lucky she still HAS her teeth - jail is keeping her safe but you're right about not making matters worse - that's all you need is worrying about revenge - In her heart she must know she ASKED for it -

I guess from what the cop told me is that Recon tore off a chunk of the dogs ear and he also chomped him in a few places on his neck and side. The ear is going to need stitches. The cop asked me if I want to make her pay for the flowers that she stomped through and I told him that I would think about it. I am really into my flower gardens and have put alot of money and time into them so I am not sure if I should make her pay for them or not.
