I think she was questioning why the seller didn't use Paypal, not the buyer. Of course not everyone has a Paypal account, but it is almost essential for a seller IMO.

99% of my bow orders are paid by Paypal. Of course I lose money on the fees, but it is a much safer and more professional way to do e-commerce for both buyer and seller. As a buyer, I always choose the Paypal option over paying with a credit card whenever possible.

OP, why don't you request that this thread be closed since you are not going to post in it anymore? No point to keep it open anymore.

My Opinion, this is so childish and needs to be handled by the Seller and Buyer only. If the Buyer has a problem with the Seller, please file a law suit, dont destroy one another with your tongue. Your Tongue is your worst enemy. This is just not right.

I know I may very well be paying, say, a dollar more per pound for something I could have gotten elsewhere for less. And I understand daily groceries can add up. This also does not mean I won't patronize places like Costco when I need items in bulk.

With online purchases, I would not buy from "money orders only" sellers, but that's just me and I don't think any seller is any less reliable because of that. However, threads like these do help me to decide whether or not I will ever consider buying from a particular seller. It's not the posts made by onlookers that sway me, but what I take out of the posts as facts in my eyes that help me form my own opinion which I would keep to myself as it only pertains to myself and my own decisions when I'm ready to purchase something.

I am very much thankful for the good and the bad experiences shared by buyers. I do not believe that a single review thread is wasted no matter which side it's coming from.

That must be an ebay only thing. I did hear on another forum there have been a lot of people getting off ebay and going to other venues. Wonder if that had anything to do with it. I hope not because I have made a lot of purchases on ebay. I sold some things there, but there are other places to sell that don't cost the seller as much.

Just say that and it is over...same with those critical of the pricing

On one hand I fully understand the new policy...it helps eliminate scammers plus previously you could file a dispute...but your refund would be limited to the amount in the seller's account. You were never guaranteed a full refund. Paypal would simply freeze the seller's account.

As a seller I would hate it...I liked having the entire transaction completed within a few days...not weeks.

Thank you for your thoughts and opinions! As I said, I don't know "too many" people that would knowingly buy the same exact item and pay more when they know that they can get it somewhere else for less. However, with grocery store items, as you mentioned, that is a totally different story Of course I would never buy from a "dirty" grocery store, even if the food is cheaper in price - as *food* is something that we are actually putting in our bodies. However, with DOG CLOTHES lol....I'm sorry, but I WILL be buying from whoever has the cheapest prices as I just do not see any reason at all to pay more - it just makes no sense to me what so ever - especially for something like dog clothes which are NOT a necessity. If I am going to buy something that I don't really "NEED" - then I am going to make sure that I get the best price possible on it.

As always, this is just my opinion and as everyone can clearly see by reading this thread, we all have our own.

This will probably be my last post in this thread as I honestly do not see it going anywhere at all. It is just getting bigger and bigger by the day and in a way, it is getting kind of off subject. It is also very sad to see that the thread with the most replies in this section is of course the thread with all the drama.

For the handful of YT members/sellers that decided to come on the other thread and question my integrity, business practices, ethics and intentions without ever speaking to me or doing business with me... You should be ashamed of yourselves. Not only as members of this community, but as human beings. The words that were spoken & the assumptions that were made were not appreciate nor were they justified.
