Thanks...I mean, I've already kinda forgot about it..but quite frankly, it's one of those things that'll always be in a part of my mind..

I know this isn't her first GE either, so even if she may not have liked her gift, she would've still posted "thank you".. So I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and say she isn't feeling well or too busy to post the thread.

Did you try just PM'ing her and calling her out on it?

"Hey, I just wondered how you liked your gift?" kinda thing. It is wrong--especially when you can see they have been online recently.

Last time around there was one of those that couldn't be bothered to post pictures or thank yous. There's one in every bunch, I guess .

Adm needs to know ASAP!! This is just down right RUDE! If one can't play by the rules then they shouldn't play at all! It's not fair to either one of you! Alot of time and thought went into these gifts and for one to say nothing is just rude!

I really don't think that she intentionally did not officially say thank-you .She probably thought saying thank you in your thread was sufficient. Give her the benefit of the doubt instead of calling her rude.

yes i did reply to your post and thanked you and yes i forgot all about posting again a new thread between my 2 year old twins, rehabilitating a rescue yorkie, school, runnign a tattoo business and losing my job and scrambling up what i can to pay bills and feed my kids and pay all other bills and well basically eveyrthing going on and learnign that my cancer has came back i am a little behind but like a said before sorry and a pm would have been nice but after this post i will post a thank you thread and make sure everyone on here reads it about how said and lazy and sick and wrong i am and that i have ruined it for everyone and oh yeah yes i haev been home since i thanked you pleanty of time to have recieved a pm asing or reminding me before being called out like kids in 8th grade

I would be so sad too My buddy had a family emergency and still managed to post a thank you. But for the first few days that she did not post I was also worried she did not like her gifts and felt VERY sad!

ok to everyone that is making assumptions need to read the facts before accusing me of anything...i have been sick for the last month or so...and i tookd the time to come on here stating that i have recieved the box and thank her for it.

i am sure everyone on here knows when you assume it makes an A$$ out of yourself.

i don't appreciate all the rude comments about how rude i have been...like the one about i better be in a freaking coma to not be posting pictures and what not. Posting pictures is optional. i don't believe the rules state anything about me having to get on here to post pictures of my gift...see rule #7.

7. Receiving a Gift - Your buddy has put a lot of thought, effort, money and time into your gift. We believe that the least you can do is thank them. Please start a thread in the YT Gift Exchange Forum after you have received your gift so that your Gift Giver knows that you have received the goodies. It shows your buddy that you appreciate it and also lets us know that you received your gift so we know who or who did not receive their gifts. This is a requirement of participating in the Gift Exchange.

5. Shipping and Receiving - Please allow 1-2 weeks shipping time! If you are participating, we are putting all our trust on you to get your buddy's gift and to send it out on time so that your buddy on the other end and their Yorkie will not be waiting for their presents for too long! It is in your hands to ship it and since we are all trusting each other, please do not forget to ship it out! If you do not ship out your gift, you will be held responsible for it. Again, this is based on TRUST so if you believe that you may not be able to ship it out on time or that problems may arise, please let us know as soon as possible! If your buddy does not receive their gift for any reason, you may not participate in the next Secret Buddy Gift Exchange and there may be other consequences as well!

6. Sending Out Your Gift - For every installment of the YorkieTalk.com's Secret Buddy Gift Exchange, there will be a set deadline. This deadline has to be met and your gift must be sent out before the date. You will have approximately one month to send your gift out. Please send your gift out within this time span (Remember, keep in mind the approximate amount of time it will take to get there!). We completely understand the inevitability of complications or that crucial personal problems may occur. If this happens, please notify us by PM.

We can help you find alternate solutions to have your gift mailed out or if, early enough, we can withdraw your name from the Participants List. It is only fair that you send out your gift in the allowed time window because other members may use their best judgement and send out their gifts a month in advance. We believe you have the ability to do the same also.

10. Not Receiving a Gift - If you have not received your gift within 2 weeks of the posted deadline, please PM us to let us know. There will be action taken. It is not fair to you if you have sent out a gift and did not receive one in return. YorkieTalk guarantees that you will get a Gift per Gift Exchange as long as you follow the rules. Every single participant in every single YT Gift Exchange thus far has received a gift.

This will allow you to participate in the YT Gift Exchange as long as YT does Gift Exchanges. We require this now because there are certain former YT members that DID NOT mail out a Gift in previous Gift Exchanges while they did accept a gift. This is totally unfair and unjust, especially with all the effort, time, and energy everyone in the Gift Exchange has given.


12. Consequences - We want to keep the fairness in this Gift Exchange and we want everyone to have fun! It is not fair to send a gift and not receive one without any actions taken against the participant that decided not to send a gift.

If any of the rules are broken, the participant will have their YorkieTalk account temporarily suspended for 1 entire week. If you do not send out a gift, you may be banned from YorkieTalk forever. We do not want this to happen to anyone and that is why we stress that you contact us as soon as possible if anything occurs which prevents you from sending out a gift.

Also, if you do not thank your gift sender or break other Gift Exchange rules, you may be permanently excluded from YorkieTalk Gift Exchanges.



It's not ok - she's broken the rules. So unless she's been laid up in the hospital in a "coma" since day one.... Please let Admin know so that she's not allowed to do this to "anyone" else.

Wow...I am sorry you feel like you were bashed. I certainly don't think I did any bashing in my posts...I understand not feeling good. I was really concerned about you because I know you have always posted a lot and we went a long time without hearing from you.

I am glad that you are feeling better and were able to post some pictures. I know it is not required in the rules but you have to understand that some people take it very personal if you don't post anything about the gifts that they spend so much time into getting for their buddy. I know that it kinda concerned me,..i thought that if you were feeling better and didn't post...that maybe you didn't like what we got you. but if you just had not posted because you were sick, that is completely understandable. I'm sorry that you were made to feel so upset about this. It really wasn't supposed to be that way. I was concerned and wanted to make sure that
1. you were ok.
2. that you liked what we sent.
