| Copied from the YT Gift Exchange FAQ posted by Admin This answers the questions about when the next GE will take place. So there should be a signup going on NOW! Hummmmm I wonder if Admin, Ann, or Jenn knows that there isn't a signup. Quote:

| The signup was posted several weeks ago and no one signed up. It was only taken down recently due to lack of interest, I'm assuming.

| That's really sad. I used to love GE's back in the "ole days" when they weren't so time consuming. The expense wasn't an issue with me - I just didn't have the time and energy for all of posting all of the hints and responding to other's hints. I quit doing GE's because I felt that my GE buddy was missing out on some of the fun - although they didn't realize it until the exchange was over. Another option to the traditional GE is to select a member at random - perhaps one you don't know very well and send them a small brighten your day gift and tell them to "pass it forward". ... and for the record, this is post 16,000 for me |

| Woohoo, Cindy! You sure talk a lot hehe I think it's sad, too because it really is not required or necessary to always be on here giving hints and such. I think I did it so much just because I had time and it was fun for me. Really, the over spending and the time of the hints and smileboxes has gotten to where it runs people off I think. I think maybe if we all did a GE and said, "Nobody spends over $80" and you can do 1 hint a week if you want and smileboxes are good because you don't have to re-size pics, but not necessary....maybe we'd have a lot more interest. I'm super interested but I can't trust myself not to spend so I can only do max of 2 a year.

| I just saw this thread. I've never done a GE, but I love this idea. I'm also up for donating cash to help with surgery or a medical expense. It'd be great if we could raise enough cash together to "sponsor" a pup's LP sugery or something like that.

| I'm also up for helping to organize/coordinate. If we do the local shelter care package thing, I can do that too. Although, there really aren't a lot of Yorkies in shelters near me. But I'm willing to look. I just hope that it I find one, I don't end up bringing him home!
