| I'm so proud of you! Teaching yourself how to knit. My sister & I tried it once and we were terrible - she not as much as I. I really wish I could try again. But your work is really good! I would be so proud of doing that myself I would bust my buttons. I have always wanted to knit. You are making me want to try again as I love the sweater. And I'll bet it feels good to a cold little Yorkie!!! Looks like something right off Fair Isle.

| That is simply amazing that you taught yourself. I don't even know how to sew. Well, I can tack something in a pinch but it ain't pretty. What a great job on your first attempt!! I cannot wait to see what you do in the future...gonna be getting a lot of requests for sweaters - careful

| Awesome job! I have been taught to knit and crochet - both the most simple, basic way possible. That said, I did recently watch a bunch of you tube videos on crocheting (I'll get back to knitting at some point in the future). I have to say, you tube is great but you did a phenomenal job on the sweater! Can't wait to see your pup wearing it!

| I am right-handed... but the booklets I bought also have instructions for lefties... And my sis is a lefty and she taught me how to crochet... basically doing everything she did but backwards...lol. OMG! I was trying to repair an afghan she made for me years ago... lol, I forgot she's a lefty... I couldn't figure out what stitches she did...lol... now I know why!

I've seen so many beautiful sweaters, vests, cardigans, leg warmers, gloves and such both knitted and crocheted. On TV a lady even crocheted/knitted rugs! She used huge needles, hooks and hugh yarn, lol! Almost as big around as my wrist! Made cute little area rugs though! I adapted a crocheted doll dress/ air freshener pattern to fit my Yorkie for last years Valentines Day Ball (I forgot I made that, lol). I was helping my neighbor make air-freshner covers for a Fire Hall event, good practice for me. Then I got the idea that they would fit my dog, if I made the bodice bigger, lol! We must have similar taste, as I like to add a few ruffles to ZoE's sweaters so they look more like a dress. She's long in the body, so it fills in the space a bit Here's her in the red ruffled sweater I made last year.

| Thanks! Love that sweater! I'm so jealous... your ribbing and is that faux cable? look fantastic! And Yes I love ruffles, lace, bling! But I also appreciate some simpler styles too. Tink is long bodied too, and I do use more ruffles on her clothes, lol!

| Miss Sapphire agreed somewhat to having her pic taken. I inadvertantly hit a button or something that has changed the timing on my camera, so pics are blurry! But here goes: 1-IMG_1247.JPG 1-IMG_1247-001.JPG She loves wearing it. When I hold it up to put it on her, she sticks her head through the neck hole all by herself!

Oh, I finally just gave that huge old afghan to the Goodwill as it took up so much space in my linen closet and was never used. I didn't know how to cut it down and not start it unraveling all around every side I cut nor, truthfully, would I spend that much time worrying with it. It did serve a wonderful purpose though and kept me busy while Kathi's last weeks of her difficult pregnancy and the birth passed with a beautiful little girl.
