| Hangers: I buy the white plastic baby hangers from Target. (White will make your clothes' colors, especially pink, pop.) Then I use a wirecutter to cut the sides & bottom off, reducing the depth & height of the hanger. This is 2 snips to each hanger. When using this method the clothes look nicer because the hanger ends aren't showing & also the rod can be hung closer to the wall, leaving more room in something like a wardrobe or the linen closet which I've made into my doggie closet.

| O.K., so I feel MUCH better about the fact that Beanie has her own closet. I also coordinate her sweaters and jackets with what I have on. The people in work think I am nuts. I take her into work in the a.m. and bring her home for lunch. It is freezing here in New England, so she has to wear a sweater and then a coat over it. She always matches. And I have a ton of harnesses and leashes that MUST match as well!! SO, not only do I go crazy matching myself, I know have to match her harness, leash and clothes to MY clothes. ahahahahahahahaha No dresses or frilly frou frou things for her either. And absolutely no bows. I keep her pretty short. When a groomer puts a bow in her hair, she goes nuts trying to get it out. I have found some awesome sweaters and winter jackets in T.J. Maxx and Marshalls, much cheaper than PetSmart or the other big box pet stores. I also bought her a Boston Red Sox leash. |

| Cricket's clothes collection is growing....... I'm so frustrated with myself though, I ordered a shirt off of Ebay, and I'm so used to ordered smalls for her that I just thought 'oh that's what she needs" well I got it yesterday and it is HUGE! I've ordered the same shirt for her in an extra small. Oh well. That will teach me. Dog apparel has become a sickness for me! I need to sit down at my mom's sewing machine and take a couple of lessons I guess.......

| Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! My husband thinks I have lost my mind buying all of these clothes for Gracie. Now I know I am not the only one! I love them! I don't know how many we have accumulated so far, probably 30 or more. Yesterday, I bought 11 new outfits at Petsmart that were out-of-season markdowns. On the way home, I stopped at Petco and got a cute summer halter dress. I would like to try my hand at sewing for her, although I am primarily a quilter in the sewing room. I dress her up nearly every day. One problem I have noticed in ordering online has been size differences even when different garments are made by the same manufacturer. Cathie |

| Mina had about 60 summer dresses and now we have Kenzie, so I will be able to start out sharing while I create matching outfits for the girls. We are also getting a tiny in April and I am altering preemie onesies to make baby dresses. If you can piece a quilt then you won't have any problems putting a doggie dress together. I like to alter Carter's baby clothes for the girls. They are really cute, you can get them cheap at Goodwill and Kid to Kid,its faster than creating from scratch and it is a lot less money than doggie clothes from the pet stores even when they are on sale. If you want to try your hand at this, just remember to keep the girth and length measurements in mind. Mina weighs 7lbs so I can purchase a 3mos dress and have plenty of room to put a new center seam where the tummy goes. This what brings the arm holes in to line them up for doggie legs. I started out making nighties for Mina out of onesies. |
