I will have to check out the snipped hanger idea. I have an old heavy solid maple china cabinet with glass fronts and 2 short rods behind all 3 panels. I have it full of boy & girl clothes and special tutus in the middle along with sweaters and coats. I could use more space but I love the pink & blue hangers. I now have a he & she fitted life jacket for the pool & beach. I keep it in the drawers. The entire cabinet is just to house doggie clothes/stuff for all of my yorkies. It is so much fun to open it up and dress the girls in pretty dresses or in a shirt w/matching panties and dress the boys in their Hawaiian shirts and visor hats and grab the life jackets and boggie board & off to the beach. We only play on the board in shallow water and they have harness & life jackets on and on a leash while on the board riding the shallow waves. I am getting a little too old to take them more than about 1 foot deep but we have the time of our lives! They ride like a hood ornament looking into the wind....
