| Personally, I don't care what a dog is registered with. I guess that's b/c I don't show. If it's a pet, I honestly don't think it matters. I mean, Baby is registered ACA and her papers sit in the closet! I love my TeaPot Petstore baby! I wouldn't trade her for the world. Unless there was one JUST like her that didn't poop and pee all over the house. ![]() PS. I don't condone petstore furbabies, I just happen to get mine there cuz I didn't know what a puppymill was before YT!

| I think the name Jazzi is cute. She might get confused if you changed it now. I have a 7 yr. old akc yorkie name kobe. His papers also just sit in the drawer. He is our baby and intended for a pet only. He is 5 lbs. and has a liver shunt problem that was not diagnosed until he was 4 yrs. old. Luckily it is not severe and we are able to control it with diet. We purchased him for $500 when he was just a puppy. The breeder almost kept him for stud. I am so thankful that she did not because of his health problems. Kobe is the love of our life and we would not trade him for anything. Although I do think he needs a baby sister. I am currently working on hubby. |

| Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Kobe's a very cute name for a male and he's adorable. I'm sorry about his liver problem and I'm glad he's with a loving family. I guess her name is growing on me you're probably right about not changing it. Thanks so much, KEY2YORKIES |

| To resize your pictures all you have to do is open them in paint. Then go to "image" then reduce the size both horizontal and vertical until you get the desired size. In most all microsoft systems paint is free located in programs;accessories; then paint. Quote:

| I too think that registry doesn't necessary mean quality. I think each breeders pups should be evaluated individually. You can register AKC and still get a bad pup or a good quality pup..you can register APRI and get bad pups or good quality pups and same with CKC and so on and so on. I think for the owners of their pups if they are happy then thats what matters..for the breeders if they know they are selling good quality pups then thats all that matters. IF you stand behind the quality of your pups and the pricing of your pups and are pleased with both thats all that matters cause trust me..there are quite a few people that will pay that price and more. I wish you all the luck in selling your pups and I think whether bargain basement or take out a loan..we all have one thing in common..we love our babies..

I am sure your little Baby is beautiful! I am not totally against Pet Stores if they stand behind their Pets. My only quam with them is that you never get to see the Parents or what type of facility they came from and more often than not it is a Puppy Mill. Also their prices are sometimes much too high, but then again some people think mine are also. So I guess the bottom line is what people can afford and are willing to pay. If your Baby Fidgette is healthy and your both happy that's all that really counts in the whole scheme of things. If she poops & peeps a little , Oh Well ! All Babies do! maybe you should have named her Sparkles Fidgette then she would be sparkling clean, I'm sure! just joking, tee hee! Key2Yorkies~jan

I have 2 buyers already that didn't bat an eye at the price. I know my prices may seem high to some people but I think my puppies are well worth it! And I feel if somebody pays a bit more for a dog they might think twice about disposing of it like an old toy or something. I worked at the Animal Welfare and I didn't see alot of Yorkies come in there and this was before they had shelters for individual breeds like they do now.I think part of the reason was that they are so costly. People might take the extra time to train a pet that they spent alot of money on. Plus they're smart and cute. I also feel my time should be worth something. I have put alot of hours into them starting with their birth . They decided to be born from 3:00 A.M. thru 6:00 A.M. after I just had come off a night shift at work. Not to mention the formula feedings and getting them started on food. Now that their 6 wks. and I'm trying to paper train them . I'm changing the papers 5 times a day . Last week I mopped the floor every 2 hrs. They seem a bit better this week though, I think they're finally getting the idea to go on the paper. The weather is so rainy this week so I haven't been able to take them out. You're right about the fact that we all do Love our Little Yorkies or we wouldn't be talking online about them so much! Right! Key2Yorkies~Jan

| I am not here to start anything bad.. but I would not be pleasant if someone called my yorkie, "bargain basement yorkie" or "t-cup." I mean..you probably wouldn't put mine in the category... but I just thought I should back up Kristy.. because I can understand why she must have gotten upset. I think people can say whatever, but people also have feelings and we ..all have to remember. I wonder what AKC horrible stories are... but anyway.. I just hope for more responsible breeders... I am not as familiar as I should about registry stuff... This is for me to express my view.. No reply needed.. (if you think this would make more disagreements etc..)

| Our Blessings R Many Donating Member | Been reading the posts here and just wanted to say to the new folks, HI and WELCOME to YT. I also wanted to say I don't see anything wrong with the APRI and IMO welcome it to join in with other registeries. All in all we all have one thing in common and then also so fortunate to have a great site such as this to share our love for this special breed, to communicate with others and learn so much in regard for them. Off to give Baby Blessing her bath she loves it she is one little girl. Patti ~~Baby Blessing~~ |
